yup collector boosters are mappable, in the first box, first 4 packs are variants showcase and extended art. In the second box, first two on the left and last two on the right are the variant extended art cards

Didn't see a comment on the "Mythic Timmy Frame" on Garruk, but I recall reading from a Wizards blog that those frames count as "showcase" style cards, so you can rarely get non-foil versions of them in the 3 non-foil showcase slots (as you did here, and I lucked out and got Oko in my pre-order pack). I also got a non-foil Timmy Frame Scions in the "draft booster" box I preordered, so they aren't exclusive to the collectors- just very difficult to get. Keep it up, Ruby, these videos are fun!

The Garruk is a showcase planeswalker, not a extended art. Hes border less alt art. I got the Oko version out of a regular pack and was super confused as well, so i looked it up.

I really enjoy these videos. But its going to be the extended art cards, and especially the foil ones, that will hold the value, as you can only get those in the collectors boosters. Though an exception are the extended art planeswalkers as they can show up in the regular boosters.

I doubt the price on those extended art foils will hold, at least not for all of them. There are more of them out there than UMA boxtoppers (as that's only 1 per 24 packs), and there are a lot more "lavaclaw reacharounds" in there. I'm (very wildly) guessing an Oko, Emry and Once Upon a Time will be the major long-term value cards, whereas the rest will probably go down in price once people realize how many of these are out there... Another interesting one are the foil showcase border rares and mythics, which are probably as rare as the extended art foils (same amount of hit-chance per box)...

Really enjoying these as well. I do think what the card is matters a lot more than you are letting on. A box topper foil won't matter too much on a bulk rare. On the other hand just an alternate frame of a very good card is worth a ton.

That isn't that rare . You did pretty badly the average I have seen so far is right at 4 per regular box . Now consider these are going to be print to demand for about a year . Then consider you get them in these collectors packs and in the deluxe edition you are talking millions of special frames out there . It's the same problem with the foils and ancillary card they are in so many different products. You may only get a few here or there but that all adds up to make them not as rare or special .
