Another no nonsense review ! Thank you . I have just purchased a S510 XS 22 and am now waiting for addition to my cert ................ dont much go for the tactical look but I like the fact thaht the mechanics are tried and tested on Air Arms rifles and are really accurate .

I've had my tactical for six months or so now and I thought I'd give an update, It's absolutely awesome!! I decided to go for 177 and it's pellet on pellet and I've found that Hades are my preferred pellet along with H&N terminator. I've now fitted it with a sightmark wraith and the combination is awesome. Using the terminator pellets on rats and squirrels really does stop them in their tracks with a solid thump on impact. So six months on yes I'm really enjoying the gun and it always makes me kind of grin when I pick it up to go out with it as it just looks so flipping good. My only gripe is the safety catch it would have finished the gun off so well if they had done the same type as the fx impact AR style but apart from that I really can't fault it. So if anyone is thinking to buy one my advice is definitely get one you'll love it.

Got one when they came out excellent gun but what I would say is get the adapter for another silencer as it is louder than most guns , best fitting is the place to go for that plus didn’t like butt as there is no check piece adjustment so swapped it for a hatsan factor one which has an adjustable one and looks much better , also pellet wise it loves RWS power ball pellets, pellet on pellet and hit hard .

Great review and when I first saw this rife I just had to make an investment, I’ve managed to secure one which my local dealer has got one coming in next week. He also said that the demand for them is hellish and I’m not surprised neither. Can’t wait to get out with it.

No doubting the accuracy of that rifle Richard, but those couple of flyers show how even the best sub 12ft/ibs rifles are affected by the wind over mid ranges. Great review mate. ATB MMMD

Not to everyones taste looks wise, personally id ditch the foregrip and fit a bipod but quality wise ot doesn't get much better.

Your KZbin channel is superb. I am looking for a new pcp with a budget of £1300. What do you think is the most accurate and consistent at 40 yards and over.

Thanks very much. Lots of good rifles in that budget range. Check out: HW100, Air Arms S510R, Daystate Huntsman Revere or Brocock Sniper XR. If you're looking to shoot at 40 yards and more, then .177 is a better choice at 12 ft. lbs. People will tell you that you can hunt at distances of 50, 60 metres or more, but personally I think 40 metres with a 12 ft lbs .177 is about the maximum distance for hunting. I have yet to see how this rifle performs on hunting....I'm thinking about purchasing it but I don't want to purchase a pretty rifle that's not good to hunt with...will there be any hunting videos in the near future?

Hi Edward. I didn't get a chance to hunt with the S510T before it had to go back to Air Arms. I see no reason why it wouldn't be a fine hunting rifle though. The underlying platform is well proven in the field.

Hello great revision of the rilfe I ordered mine in FAC, 22 and I wanted to ask you a question I have stock of an ultimate sporter but I do not know if the trigger chassis comes with the holes to place the trigger guard, thanks and regards

Hi. As far as I understand it, the S510 stock (which includes the Ultimate Sporter model) and the tactical stock are completely interchangeable on rifles made from 2010 and onwards. Is the extra power 3.4 kg version good for target practice or is it typical hunting version? I am looking for target practice one for my self hence my question. Obviously since I saw better version temptation came with it.

Why don't you attach a rod to the target with a ribbon 🎗 on the end that you can see through your telescopic sight so that only fire when the wind has dropped. I've been competing in smallbore target rifle shooting for decades and we always use wind flags to avoid bad shots ruining scores due to gusts of wind.

The important question to ask yourself is how many you need (if hunting). If it bothers you, a day tripper bottle will help. Plenty of other rifles with larger shot counts though. Thanks for watching.

Yes, but at 12 ft/lbs I doubt you will get any benefit over pellets.
