Reminds me of how I used to play as a kid. I would act like "all floor has ice physics" in many games, including Pokemon games but also in real life I would try and navigate around using only cardinal direction ice physics. I think the ultimate motivator for that was this WildTangent game I played called Slider. I even ended up making my own ice physics based puzzle game. Really cool to see it actually as a mod.

Okay, so you know that sound Alpharad's water bottle was making? I thought it sounded like a dolphin pokemon cry! So I made a fakemon for it based on a water bottle. Its called Bottleknows! Bottlenose as in the dolphin species, Bottle as in water bottle, and knows because Bottleknows are very intelligent. Bottleknows is a water/psychic type, with the ability poison absorb. It makes it so Bottleknows gets powered up by poison type moves instead of hurt. Bottleknows like to collect trash in the ocean and use it as decoration, jewelry, and housing for their communities. Bottleknows even use money in the same way humans do. Bottleknows appearance is a navy blue dolphin with a white bottle cap from a plastic bottle stuck on the tip of its nose, with the plastic rings used to hold cans tied around its neck as a necklace. It also has a pale blue stripe along the middle of its body. Jeez I loved writing this. You're free to draw Bottleknows but please credit me and alphadad both!

People out here talking about how linear Regions have gotten while completely sleeping on the puzzles in Pokemon games, they're nice. I tend to sumarize pokémon into 3 things: battling, petting and exploring. Battling is self-explanatory, but it also includes some non-combat things like breeding, EV soccer and battle tower knock-offs. Petting means stuff like contests (and related minigames), pokéathlon, pokéstar, Amie, camping, avenue, mantine surfing, etc. Exploring sounds simple, but it might not be so: dex filling, travel logistics, treasure hunting and some other minigames like secret bases and sinnoh underground. Whether it's competitive or nuzlocking, most pokémon circles only care about the battling part while GameFreak itself cares about the petting part but also battling cause it's what the majority of players do, while exploring gets less with each generation. Ice physics everwhere sounds amusing, but I don't think it's enough for me...

4:17 I think this specific cut makes an amazing point that Alpharad's editing skills are fine tuned for humor. You could find other youtubers who do cuts like that in their vids for comedic value but no one I know has done it as often and subtle as Alpharad, which makes them all the better since it doesn't feel forced. (Even though forced cuts are great because of some humor meta I don't have enough degrees in comedian to explain.)
