It's not about the design. That is great and inviting. It's the engine. The Escape experience with an engine which temperature rises per less than a kilometer is not something attractive at all . To save up to buy a vehicle is not such a small matter, and then the frustration of raised temperature at every turn? No

We got a 12 because he hates the new body styles. I have to agree SUV's don't really look the part anymore. Was it unnerving to review it with the sales guy right there? I'd probably have a hard time really saying anything about it let alone something not to flattering.

My company give us escapes and they are horrible the last one I got was 2018 and at 38,000 miles the engines blew full failure out of warranty and ford wanted 9500.00 to replace a 39,000 car never buy one thank goodness they are discontinuing in 2025!!!

my 2018 fusion did same thing at 38000 miles i still had warranty

My 2019 Escape's engine blew as well. It's a trend with a turbo engine that's supposed to be intercooled and if it is, the intercooler is not sufficently doing it's job. I traded in my Escape after my warrenty covered for repairs. No more Ford intercooled turbo engines. All are junk...!!!
