How do you like the warlock? I currently have a 2002 ram 1500. I want a fully loaded warlock with 4x4 and that 8.4" display. Do you have the hemi? And what is the gas mileage like? Currently I'm getting 12mpg in my 20 year old truck

@@ianolivas9920 Ya, I have the hemi and I love it. If you know the hemi, the gas mileage is highly dependant on how heavy you are on the gas pedal. It's really good on gas if you decide to be light on the pedal but will punish you if you have a heavy foot. The best thing In my opinion that I got in terms of options was the Rambox which is super useful and keeps things locked up and tiddy outside of the cab.

My 2021 Warlock has the larger 8" Infotainment center, and the center console that converts to a bench seat. It's fairly well equipped for what it is.

Really like 2021 Warlock that I got. I have it fully loaded, I do have the volume buttons in the back of the wheel. Alpine stereo , push button start .8.4" touch screen. Heated seats with heated leather steering wheel. 3 inch factory lift with 20" tires. Love the truck! Edit and with Crew cab. Lots a space.

I have the 5.7 '21 and front bench seat, and no tow hooks on the front. Other than that, mine is very similar to the one shown here in this video. No Warlock badging on mine, though.

The Warlocks are also available in the crewcab. U can find them with the 5.7 Hemi as well but most do have the V6.

Wouldn't want the hemi. Lifter and cam failure prone, and still haven't solved manifold stud issues. V6 is more reliable

I have a 2023 Warlock Quad cab with the 6 ft 4 inch bed and V-6 with several useful options, i put a BEDRUG in it and nice tonneau cover. That power seat is an option, my fogs, tow hooks and power rear window are options not included in the Warlock package at least on 2023, yeah that 5 inch screen is dated but like you said the price was right for me, i saved $9200.00 off the sticker so i paid what a Tacoma or Ridgeline costs if not less. Those seats are comfortable even on a 4 hour drive, cruises at 70 MPH at 1750 RPM, 20 mpg highway and its barely got 1000 miles, i get 17 local/mixed, not expecting much/any more.

I like it. Kind of reminds me of the Studebaker Scotsman that used the grille from the earlier version. The scotsman was their budget line and back then scottish people were synonymous with being cheap. You couldn't get away with that today!!!

They have multiple levels I have a fully loaded 2021 and it has the bigger touch screen, fancier gauges and display with heated seat and steering wheel. Don't let that V6 fool you though I pull horse trailer with mine and it does better than my older v8s ever did and it's also really gas efficient as daily.

Good to know about the Pentastar V6. I'd natutally prefer its superior fuel economy (compared to the 5.7 V8), but it's reassuring to know the V6 can be counted on to haul and tow within reason.

You hit all the same spots as I did. When I got my Warlock I immediately took off the 'Warlock' decals and put on the 4x4 Off Road decals that are seen on the other Ram trucks. Also, I agree that the 5" infotainment sucks. Everything else is great. I also have the Hemi and mine's a crew cab. Great Review!

I've always been a Toyota guy. But I was looking into alternatives for half ton trucks. This sits at the top of the list as it doesn't have a problematic v8 that all other half tons have. Ford has an oil burner, meanwhile the Ecotec and Hemi eat cams and lifters. The pentastar is amazingly reliable, and has what's basically a ZF8 just made by Ram. I drove one of these recently and wouldn't hesitate to buy one

I am confused between RAM 1500 2022 Warlock and GMC Sierra 1500 Elevation. Part of me wants RAM Warlock for aggressive looks while I like GMC Sierra for features. Can you please do a comparison. Trying to get most of Year ending deals.

This warlock in the video isnt the fully loaded. I have a 2020 fully loaded warlock and it's amazing. 8inch unconnect screen and the screen in front of the drive is more upgraded. Honestly it's the best truck not to fancy but not to far back in technology. The gas mileage makes it usable as a daily. If you find one go check it out it's worth it.

I love my warlock it's the perfect truck. To me it's what a truck should be. Simple and productive. It is also extremely stylish and sets itself apart from all the oversize over gadgeted overloaded electronic luxury trucks out there that cost as much as a house payment.

The Warlock is NOT the budget entry in the 1500 line. The budget entry is the Tradesman with the basic HD wheels, plastic bumper, and limited color choices. There are about 9 or 10 different models that start with standard packages and can be upgraded to premium amenities. In the case of this Warlock -- it appears to have a mixture of ST and SLT features. Certain trim levels are specific to 1500 models but they're all pretty much ala cart depending on how you want to spec your truck.

Things you forgot: You never showed the Monroney sticker. Never mentioned the rear end ratio as the 3.21 has a max towing of 4400lbs whereas the 3.55 has over 7000. The 2300 payload is for the regular cab 2wd tradesman. Never mentioned any of the option packages available nor msrp. Heated seats and steering wheel, upgraded display, 8” touchscreen, rear seat vents, ‘Alpine’ upgraded stereo, towing package, limited slip rear, running boards, ect. Also, the Warlock is not a budget truck, it is the highest trim level in the Classics. Try sitting your butt in a vinyl seat regular cab tradesman!

I am looking at purchasing a new 2021 warlock right now. A little worried about Ram's reliability though. I've had a Sierra 1500 for 4 years now and not one trip to the garage for anything just oil changes. I am just looking for a change but trucks on hand at dealerships is lacking now but the dealership in my city has plenty of 2021 Rams. Any recommendations? BTW I Love the way you ended the video!! With the market shortage it’s tough to find a crew cab with the v8. I was gonna get the double cab warlock with the v8 and tow package. Loved the maroon color thought the truck looked good as well. And yes I’m buying new not used. Truck looks great ride was okay not the best not the worst. What killed it for me is I’m paying 41k at best for all the options I wanted and with the double cab there is no ac vent in the back. I live in Arizona that is a no go. And idk if it was just the one I looked at but all interior pieces were loose not put together well at all. I like the truck they just were lazy with it. For anything around 40k should be built a bit better for me. I went with a 21 titan sv fully loaded with all tow options including trailer break brand new for 45k with a 5 year warranty and it being a crew cab 4x4. With a much bigger screen with same resolution for back up.

Got one in Sept. and love it all black with the bigger black wheels and dark interior, well i would if i had it except for the fact that some jackass caved in the rear passenger door and it has been in the body shop for the last few weeks. Hit and run in Home Depot parking lot, like i said jackass. I went from a 2013 Nissan Frontier and what a difference. The Nissan was a great little truck, survived a rearender on the freeway where i was at a full stop and got whacked by a guy doing over 65, the truck did better than me. The Ram does everything I want it to and then some, the V6 is great on gas (26 to 27 on the freeway with the cruise, A/C on and the radio playing some good Blues), right now the Ram loaner I have is an 8 it has no respect for gas mileage but it is fun to get on. My truck is almost as comfortable as my wifes Lexus rx350, again almost. Mine has the smaller 5 inch screen which is fine, really I don't need a big screen hi-def color TV to back up. The standard sound system is great for me but then my hearing isn't all that great after 30 years spent in high noise working environments, I can put on some Blues or Jazz and I am a happy guy. I did put on some running boards so my 4'11' wife can get into it. Right now I have it set up for my work truck, folded up the rear seat put down some plywood and my tools in plastic tubs held in place with a ratchet strap, that will all go away in about 6 months when I finally retire. All in all I like my new truck, or least I will when i finally get it back.

Omg I agreed with you until you mentioned the v6. For a couple extra grand get the hemi. Big difference in power. I bought the 2021 express night edition with the hemi and so glad I did. Also the larger 8.4 inch screen is so much nicer

I have a 2021 ram warlock, not too many options but a decent amount. Off roading it’s awesome and beautiful in the navy blue I got it. I am very happy with my warlock. You also forgot to mention that the front pedals move forward/back, your ass can move your seat up if you have passengers. Clown. Btw I use my truck for construction and constantly have scaffolding in the back too. It’s not a pavement princess
