Thanks for the vid! I am savin up for the Alpine. I have always loved Alpine. I absolutely love the look of the whole setup. I did go to y'all's website and I will be callin. I noticed for the '15-'18 y'all don't have the cut dash which is jus fine. I do have the Select Increments JKU Speaker Pods as well for back roll bars. I am looking at the bundle but will need more. I noticed on the passenger side, there is a gap on the dash where the light from the radio shines thru as the new dash piece must not fit correctly. Is this a defect in the dash overlay?

No, that’s by design. It’s not a gap but an intentional light that emits through the sides.

Why can't I use the GPS that the factory unit came with or the microphone that already installed from the factory??

does it have the option to use netflix or youtube apps? via phone connectivity or screen sharing?

@@AmarChumber It absolutely does. With the wired connection, you connect for screen sharing. To use this feature, the parking brake will need to be engaged, however I’m pretty sure there is a workaround to that. 😉

question, every install I’ve seen has the nav/GPS box going, above/behind drivers head to the crossbar the speakers are on. I liked where you put it instead up front on the dash so I installed mine there. System info Navigation antenna = connected Vehicle positioning information = no data, no satellites, VP = not done Basically the clock won’t function and no gps activity connecting. Everything else works perfect. My GPS via CarPlay is fine too. It’s not a huge deal but it’s bothering my OCD Any ideas? Thinking I’m going to have to move it further away from the head unit :/

Yes, you’ll want to move it away from the head unit.

It’s not necessary to attach it to anything, however a zip tie wouldn’t hurt if you felt the need to attach it to something.

I bought a used 2018 rubicon and it has the 209 in it. My question is do you know what would make the OBD2 stop working/connecting? The person had the OBD2 cord unplugged, so I plugged it back in and had 0 luck getting it to re connect. Basically the gauges won’t carry over to screen. Any tips gents?

that bezel needs some work with that light coming out of the side of it... 2199.95 that thing should be flawlessly fit to the dash.

It is flawless, that light is intentional, it’s not a light leak.
