lol they arent really a 4k screen, they are around 320 x 640 on a simulated screen, i do web development, and we have to make the website fit multiple screens. impossible to fit millions of leds into a 4 or 6 inch screen :)

Can the Home Screen widgets be as customised as on the iLX-W690D that you also reviewed please? What options does the 'Home Screen Type' option in the menu give you? Cheers for your reviews!

did you buy it and figured out? I'm so tempted to upgrade from my iLX-W690D, so I was hoping this review was more detailed, but it seems to be way more good features in the iLX-705D. I want it for the data-bus-interface, the view where it shows voltage data, the physical buttons, and so on, but I guess I'll get a DSP before that's happening as I'm into getting a complete sound quality setup in my car

Still my fave head units after 26 years of car audio, my cda9812rb is bulletproof and still sounds crisp, this one looks very smart might have to ask santa to pop in for me. Thanks for the video 👍

Why do you say there is no 1080p because it will not fit in a 7 inch? Has nothing to do with each other and Phone sceens the same or smaller size have not 720p or 1080p, but 1284p or more.

my Galaxy S24 Ultra has 1440P with it's 6,8" display, so I wanted to comment about it too, and I know Sony made the Xperia Z5 in 2015 with a 4K display, a tiny 6,5" display with such high resolution, and Alpine can't even put 1080P on a 7" display almost 10 years later. shame on Alpine, and the other head unit makers

I bought it for Alfa Romeo Giulitetta 2016 but it does not fit, even if there is written for Giulietta from 2013....hmm
