Most likely the parking brake wire is not properly wired. You can buy a bypass for that it’s called “parking brake bypass”.

Doesn’t include the backup camera, you will need to buy a non HD camera for this unit.

I had my stock toyota back up camera hooked up to this radio and it works fine. Aftermarket back up cameras are not too expensive.

Natively KZbin is not supported on Android Auto but there are some “hacks” around to make it work.

How do I get the background to turn white while using Apple CarPlay? I have the solid white/black wallpaper and when I switch always dark to automatic it just stays black. I’ve seen KZbin videos that show the white display when switched to automatic. I have the latest firmware on it. Thanks.

White background used to be on iOS 13, after the update to iOS 14 they got rid of it and they added a feature to set custom background/wallpaper .

Can you turn the volume of this head unit to max volume without sending distortion?

I can’t tell you anything about that on this particular unit, I haven’t tested but most headunits will distort near max volume. Some are able to go max volume without any clipping but most can't. Also this depends on what kinda speaker you have and how you set the gains.

You can decrease Distortion by upgrading your speakers. Or buy the internal amp that bolts directly to the ilx350 with upgraded speakers for loud crisp music
