Predator hunting is my game bud. All time favorite thing to do. I almost prefer it over hunting big game. Nothing like the rush of pack of Coyotes coming rushing to your call and smashing it!!!
@AlpineCarnivore2 жыл бұрын
Yup nothing wrong with hunting predators I’m going out for cats shortly myself!

Too bad you guys didn't harvest that big guy - but that must have been so much fun with all the different flora and fauna. Those Antelope Jackrabbit legs were huge! Have you ever hunted White-tailed Jackrabbits in Alberta? I've tried hunting for European Hares in Ontario but they always eluded me - but we always got lots of Eastern cottontail. Eastern cottontail are everywhere here in the lower mainland - obviously introduced.

Hey @fishwild, I’ve hunted lots of cotton tails and snowshoe hares but those were the first jackrabbit. So much more meat than I’m used to off a rabbit and truly really good stuff!

A healthy amount of predator animals is good for a balanced ecosystem.. just like a garden, man is the steward of our ecosystem. It’s a responsibility

You got that right!

If I kill 6 coyotes a year that helps my buddy's beef operation and my deer hunting... Probably more coyotes roaming around in cities looking for a kitty for lunch.
@AlpineCarnivore2 жыл бұрын
Yup I hunt ‘em to and I have no beef with folks who do I just think it’s interesting that some folks really don’t like wolves or coyotes at all and think they all need to be whipped out.

Goes to show 6k worth of gear is useless if you choke shots.. we have all done it
@AlpineCarnivore2 жыл бұрын
Yea adrenaline will do that sometimes even if your naked with no gear …

I don't hate lions, bears, wolves and coyotes. I respect them and love to hunt them and use them for fur and meat (except coyotes and wolves. sorry I dont particularly like to eat them but I do use the fur) I live in an area that has definitely been affected by the increase in wolves but I don't wish them entirely gone.

That’s good than we are of one mind many folks don’t think that way!
