I'll buy an A* back protector which will be okey with A* kr-c chest protector. Actually my main purpose is lower back coverage, because I injured my L4-L5 (lumbar vertebreas) 2 times (1 crash 1 lifting). But can't decide between Kr1, Kr1cell, Kr3. And have 2 question marks. 1- Size chart suggests M, but I want full coverage on lowerback. So I wonder any problem occur if I size up to L (like it stretchs to the helmet) 2- Cell is new technology, new is always better? Kr1 2015, Kr3 2017, Kr1cell 2019. I can't decide how much I want kidney protector but protection on Back&Lower back is important me, so I can give up about it if Kr1Cell is best about protection.

The size large will use a larger shell than the medium. Here is a link to the size chart which will show which size uses which shell: www.sportbiketrackgear.com/product_images/product_pdf/Alpinestars-Nucleon-Back-Protector-Size-Chart.pdf

I got it for a year thanks to this review. But is there a correct way to clean it? i couldn't find any video as how to clean a motorcycle back protector.
@sportbiketrackgear4 жыл бұрын
I would suggest using a wet soapy rag to clean followed by a wet rag to rinse then line dry. You could also spray a little Lysol or something similar on it if you like. - Van

No they are only available with the KR3. That said the KR3 is 100% worth the extra money spent on it over the KR1 if you can swing it. This is a piece of gear you will be able to ride in for many years before you need to replace it. We sell 10 KR3's to each KR1 and have never heard anyone say they were unhappy with the decision they made to go with the KR3. - Van

They are very different products IMO. The most protection is available with the Tech-Air (chest, back and shoulders) and it costs $1150 as compared to the KR-3 that comes in at $189 with high level protection for the back only. There is also a convenience factor which for sure favors the KR-3. It requires more effort to wear the Tech-Air. - Brian Van
