“He’s hitting Bojji so much harder while Bojji was just taping him!” And there lies the problem It wasn’t supposed to be taps, it had to have actual strength behind it So while Bojji was doing well at dodging before, he would never win Think of it like a boss fight in a video game, it’s great when you’re able to dodge everything the boss throws at you, but if you can’t take down it’s health you’ll never win Now them complaining about the dodging is a completely different story…

Yep and the people around him weren't seeing Bojji as physically weak. So to them it looked like he was just messing with Daida. Which would be seen as really disrespectful. As he doesn't appear he's taking this seriously.

@@kytsunix1654 There is actually no point in trying to argue about the logistics of the fight. For all the praise that this show gets from me personally because of the writting, the only blatant fault I can see is that the writers must not know a lot about actual swordsmanship. At one point, Desha even says "How are you going to destroy his armor if you're that weak?" Like: Dude, no one with a brain would even think of striking the armor, you need to get between the gaps. Boji's style is objectively far better swordsmanship but the story treats it like it's wrong for some reason.

I had no clue this series existed besides seeing it in your thumbnails. Just decided to give it a go and just binged watched the whole season. Gawd Dayum is this series good, and the animation! Sweet, refreshing animation.
