I live in Buffalo New York. Are post offices are generally open from 8:30 a.m. till 5:00 p.m.. the smaller post offices in the suburbs of Buffalo, do take a lunch break from 12-1pm. But I did some research for you and it looks like the larger ones in the main city do not shut down for lunch. Absolutely love that you're doing the vlogs. ❤ Oh and one more thing, you should never be embarrassed by vintage wallpaper!! Lol

First ., Fantastic video !!! On the Post office LOL .. as you know I’m in PA also. I’m north of Scranton about 20 minutes, small town. The town I’m in doesn’t have a post office lol. The town over does it closes from 1:30-2:00. They are very understaffed. They deliver the mail for their town and mine. If I want to pick up a package I go two towns over about a 10 minute drive. They don’t close for lunch. The thing with our mail also is if you mail anything it goes all the way to the Lehigh Valley distribution center and then back up here 😂 They closed the Scranton center years ago. So if you have anything like a Birthday card and you’re wanting it to be there around the person’s Birthday you’re better off visiting them or sticking it in their mail box yourself 😂 It can be lost for weeks 🎉 My gf worked for the PO briefly … she was out walking from 9am until 9pm some days delivery because of Amazon and UPS smart post. She had a little one and she just couldn’t do it. Up here they really put them through the ringer … Quite a few of the OG’s that were close to retirement Called it quits.

Hi Jason and Tina, loved your vlog! I’m in Iowa, don’t know the exact hours of our post office but I do know they don’t close for lunch. Most likely just rotate lunches! Loved what I saw of your shaker auction winnings. Especially love the Christmas poinsettia ones! Please keep up these vlogs!

Pottstown p.o is open M-F 8-5:30, Sat 9-3; for bulk mail acceptance is M-F 9:30-1 , then 1:30-3. I actually don't need the PO since Landis grocery (don't know if you have one near you; you're not too far from me) does PO service. (Am not a reseller). Enjoyed the vlog!

I’m in PA also not far from you, Lehigh County. Our small post office closes from 2 to 3 for “lunch”. Odd hour for linch but I do know they do postal duties without having to attend to customers. I believe our small PO doesn’t have the staff. Loved the vlog! I met you both well over a year ago on Adamstown at a WhatNot meet up. Loved Mother Tuckers, great shopping experience. Enjoyed your vlog, but don't spread yourself too thin... My local PO opened 9-6 wkdays and 9-2 Sat with a rotating lunch schedule. Maybe they are too busy to close as the town wouldn't have it! Love those fabulous bobble head shakers! Wonderful to see you both!!

Loved your vlog. Smart idea to sort out donate before you even bring it home! I am going thru my selling room and sorting out donate items now and I am going to try your method. Sort it out before it comes in the door. My Post office goes down to one clerk during lunchtimes-- so very backed up during that time and not worth going. I used to have a contract Post office branch close to home that closed for 1/2 hour .-- wish it was still open as it was in and out.

Trust me Kim you'll be so greatful that you sort it right away. We found that the hassle and amount of time we were spending moving $1 style items and just common stuff did pay us for the amount of time it took...

That was fun! In NJ the little post offices (with one counter person) close for lunch, but the main ones stay open (multiple counter people and a full-time post master). Our CVS and Rite Aid pharmacies also close the pharmacy dept for lunch. I think it all is related to their inability to get staff.

Are you sure you're not related to Gavin? Cause I see that hair every day. I call him Jimmy Neutron and you're doing your Jimmy Neutron too. Wallpaper, the vain of my house too. We finally only have a border in one bathroom that's still here but who has the time and energy to take it down? We've been switching rooms around while curating for them so I have a few rooms that look like a tornado hit hard. It's the reality of life. That's my goal before Spring. Get them finished. In CT and Mass the majority of post offices close for lunch. Not sure why every employee needs to take their lunch at the same time. Not a great way to conduct business but they don’t care about the customer. My pharmacy does the same thing.

Yes, it's an auction house that handles estates. They used to be an in person auction. But after 2020 they moved their weekly auction to online. That's why there is a odd variety of items lumped together. They also sell individual items. So it's not always such a crazy amount of goods.

I can understand what you're saying and thinking. But Mother Tucker's has been the name of my brick and mortar since the 90s. It's a little too late to change my brand now.
