Gabriel brought do much during this interview mashallah, it is so important to learn about the quran and the sunna and learn the balance of the prophet mohamed peace and blessings be upon, every case should be treated separately we can't generalise without forgetting that prophet mohamed peace and blessings be upon him made an important wasya to take care of women before he died in khutbat AL wada3, let's focus on the sunna of bringing hope and not following stats and studies from the west, the sunna and quran have more value to bring to the world and solutions than any other study

I dont know why Mahdi didnt bring in this hadith, he would have ended the debate in 2 minutes: Narrated `Aisha: I said, O Allah's Apostle! Suppose you landed in a valley where there is a tree of which something has been eaten and then you found trees of which nothing has been eaten, of which tree would you let your camel graze? He said, (I will let my camel graze) of the one of which nothing has been eaten before. (The sub-narrator added: `Aisha meant that Allah's Apostle had not married a virgin besides herself .) @FEAR KCP but this is a specific case this is what I said, The sahaba married devorced women and widows too, I mean if your sister devorced her husband because he was an abuser now what are you going to tell her that's it you have nothing else to do? Give the sisters some hope, life is already a fitna and you are adding to them more pressure

A big Issue facing Muslim men leads women to feminism is **BIDA!** It divides umma, & sufi batinis hide evidence & hence teach ext. taqlid, they justify this with imam extremism leading to shirk & grave worship (Q 9 :31). Tawhid ties to safety (Q 24 :55) This leads to colonies, division & women targeted, society reunites after the bida on secularism, when they should of been united on Sunnah - so how do we reject Bid'a for Sunnah! The 4 mathhabs many (Batini Sufi) imams use to push bid'a, they themselves said refer our statements to Quran and Sunnah! *Clear Sunni unity over blind bida'a division to beat liberalism on inside and colonies on the other side.* 1) Abu Hanifah : "It is prohibited (23) for someone who does not know my evidence to give verdicts (24) on the basis of my words." 2) Imam Malik : look into my opinions: all that agrees with the Book & Sunna, accept it; and all that does not agree with the Book and the Sunnah, ignore it." 3) Imam Shafi : "Muslims are unanimously agreed if a sunna is made clear to someone, it is not permitted (33) for him to leave it for the saying of anyone." 4) Imam Ahmad : "The opinion of Awzaa'i, Maalik, of Abu Haneefah: all of it is equal in my eyes. However, the proof is in the narrations (in the sunnah)." This is from the beautiful work of Sheikh Albani's Prophet prayer... *When we say Muhammadur Rasulalah it means our isnad ends with Prophet Muhammad peace and blessings be upon him whenever able!* The best interpretors of the Quran and Sunnah are the Sahabas, see Quran 9 :100!

I've been divorced twice before, three children with two fathers. My first ex husband was schizophrenic and possessed and had locked me in a room while pregnant for 4 days and nights without food or water. I had just turned 18. I was rescued and hospitalised for 3 months. Second husband was viciously abusive and used my previous divorce and child as an excuse to brutally beat me and my daughter thinking I would never leave as no other would have me. I stayed 7 years and had two more children, suffering broken ribs, regular strangulation, glass thrown in my face, grave dug in back garden for me, planned and failed acid attack so no one would find me attractive, isolated me from everyone including family until one day he tried to commit suicide and kill me and the children with him. He planned but Allah is the best of planners. Police arrested him and I survived the horrific evil I lived in for 7 years. I believed truly that there was no hope left for me and only the most wicked of men wanted to marry me who openly admitted it would just be a sexual thing rather than an honourable marriage. Single mother of three children with no education or financial support I had only Allah and that proved sufficient alhamdulillah. I had men laugh in my face when I rejected them. I was 34, I remember falling down in sujood and spoke to Allah from my heart. I made sincere du3a for Allah to bring me a man who would love, respect and honour me and my children for the sake of Allah alone. Withing 6 months I married a man who was never married before, aged 30, who was beyond all my expectations in terms of beauty and strength and was was steadfast in his deen. He was not rich or poor and he was not too easy or extreme . I married him in 2020 when my eldest was 14. Three years later I thank my beautiful Islam for making this possible. If it was not fear and love of Allah, my husband would have looked down on me like everyone else in the community did. We are now like two giddy teenagers who are beyond deep affection for one another and he is constantly building me up in confidence and dignity. I share my story here to reiterate what Gabriel was saying. Every situation is different! My husbands friends all married virgin women in roughly the same time he married me....three have divorced in the first year, another brother found out his sick baby boy was not his biological son and another two are struggling to hold the marriage together, all while ME (the one they advised my husband not to marry) is thriving and growing because I know how to cherish a good man as I have seen the ugly sides to mankind. We fear and love Allah and we do not have disputes because Islam answers all disputes. So brothers take head of the advice of brother Gabriel! And sisters....wallaaaahi when you sincerely place you whole self in the hands of Allah and ask for his protection and mercy....you WILL get it. Bi idnillah.

As a divorcee myself, brother Mahdi's comments made me feel bad. Because our divorce was not our fault. We were married for 14 years, and had no kids. Then he wanted to try by marrying another woman, and I said okay. We ended our marriage against our will in a peaceful way, because I understood that Allah made men have kids no matter how old, but for us women the child bearing age is limited. Anything that comes from our Creator is for us to say, " We listened and obeyed" Thank you brother Gabriel for elaborating matters using the Quran and the Sunah in the debate!

All perfect praise be to Allaah, the Lord of the worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His Slave and Messenger. The Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, recommended marrying virgin women, as Jaabir ibn ‘Abdullaah narrated that he said, “I married a woman during the lifetime of the Messenger of Allaah . I met the Prophet and he asked: “O Jaabir, have you married?” I said, “Yes.” He said: “A virgin or one previously-married?” I said, “A previously-married woman.” Whereupon, he said: “Why did you not marry a virgin with whom you could play?” I said, “O Messenger of Allaah, I have sisters; I was afraid that she might intervene between me and them.” He replied: “Then it is that (which is the correct thing to do). A woman is married for her religiousness, wealth and beauty, so you should choose the religious one; lest you lose.” [Al-Bukhari and Muslim. This is the wording of Muslim] ‘Utbah ibn ‘Uwaym narrated that the Messenger of Allaah, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, said: “Marry virgin women for they have sweeter mouths, more fertile wombs, and are more content with what is little.” [Ibn Maajah in his Sunan. Al-Albaani: Hasan] (Sweeter in mouths): It means that their mouths smell good and their saliva is sweeter. It could also mean lack of obscenity and impudence because they still maintain their bashfulness due to not mixing with men. (More content with little): It means that they are content with little expenses and sexual intercourse because they did not experience it before. As Al-Munaawi stated in Faydh Al-Qadeer, the command in the two aforementioned Hadeeths is for recommendation, not for obligation. To us, the preponderant opinion is that marrying virgin women is better in principle, based on the previously mentioned proofs.

But why are you telling this sister she chose money over deen? she said she divorced the man because he became athiest. it is not permissible to marry an athiest so she had to divorce him, and if you think he wasn't on the deen before marriage, think about it, people can change a lot between 17 years. allah guides who he wills and misguides who he wills. and finally allah tells us to avoid negative assumption ( quran 49:12 ) so we shouldn't throw accusations or make assumptions about our brothers and sisters.

Instead he waffled on about how it is Sunnah to marry divorcees, never mentioning the context in which they are best suited as co-wives and not the first option. His discourse seems to encourage divorced women to seek high value men as if they were on equal playing grounds to non-married virgin women.

I think your approach to this “debate” was the best in that the brother, although knowledgable in his respective domain of counselling, is evidently unable to hold intellectual discussions like this. How many times did he bring up your past condescendingly as a way to indirectly discredit you or your use of the word body count etc ( the phrase body count is actually a common term to refer to a persons sexual partners, i think Gabriel’s a little out of touch there). This wasn’t as fruitful of a discussion as it could have been mainly because of brother Gabriel’s rigidity in his thinking and his inability to explore new ideas.

The Red Pill is not a movement. Rollo Tomassi has written volumes about separating Red Pill praxeology from political and/or moral agenda. He characterizes the current political climate dominated by feminine-centric views, as do other writers like Warren Farrell (author of The Myth of Male Power). Rollo is not saying that it’s morally wrong for women to pursue their own political or sexual agenda. He is saying that it is wrong to shame men for doing the same, and that politics is an obstacle to praxeology. The moral indignation associated with the Red Pill is an attempt to corrupt its praxeological nature (the science of purposeful human behavior) with a political agenda. Rollo Tomassi mentions "It’s my opinion that red pill awareness needs to remain fundamentally apolitical, non-racial and non-religious because the moment the Red Pill is associated with any social or religious movement, you co-brand it with an ideology, and the validity of it will be written off along with any preconceptions associated with that specific ideology. Furthermore, any co-branding will still be violently disowned by whatever ideology it’s paired with because the Feminine Imperative has already co-opted and trumps the fundaments of that ideology."

Refused to answer Mahdi's question of whether he would choose to marry a virgin or a divorcee, given all other factors are equal (her character, beauty, taqwa etc.). The issue with being defensive in this way and refusing to validate Mahdi's argument puts you on the far end of the spectrum, where you are now not just advocating for marrying divorcees, but preaching that divorcees are preferable over virgins by proxy of avoiding Mahdi's argument

It will put divorcees in generally in risk. In addition muslim ummah needs to stop degrading and insulting divorcees and single mothers and then praise virgins. Let women alone ,for goodness sake this red pill doesnt even make sense. If you want to marry someone ,have your options wide, dont choose women upon purity ,choose them of how you connect to them or love. One thing that Mahdi distinguishes about divorced women is the reason why they're divorced. For example, if she divorced her husband for some petty reason or the man divorced her because she was mischievous, nagging, ungrateful, bad akhlaq, bad attitude etc then a man should run for the hills if the woman divorced her husband for reasons like incompatibility or genuine abuse then a man should marry that woman if they like and find each other compatible after vetting. At the end like Gabriel said one should vet the person and see if they match you but to properly vet them I think one should know some red pill stuff that Mahdi speaks about. I think the excerpt below sums it up perfectly Shaykh Mustafa al-Ruhaybaani (Hanbali Mufti) said: “It is Sunnah for the one who wants to get married to marry a virgin, because the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said to Jaabir, ‘Why not a virgin whom you could play with and she could play with you?’ (agreed upon) - *unless there is a reason* for which marrying a previously-married woman is better, in which case he should choose such a woman over a virgin, in order to serve that interest.”(Mataalib Uli al-Nuha, 5/9, 10) And Allaah knows best.

but there is a problem with citing the hadeeth of jaabir as sole evidence for this position...as the recommendation was not a general advice to the ummah but a specific one to a single sahaabee - it cannot be ruled out that this was an advice tailored to the subject; perhaps based upon his youthfulness or another/other factors...this could be used as a supporting evidence were there a more general and clear cut evidence which carried the explicit meaning that it is claimed this hadeeth implies...but i think caution should be applied if this is the only evidence this understanding or ruling is based upon...wa-ALLAAHU-A'LAM...

Secondly, it seems like divorcees/single mothers would NOT accept polygyny. A divorcee with 2-4 kids expects a single brother or one who may have kids and is divorced.... No no no to polygyny, so brother Al Romani's argument for safeguarding the sisters through polygyny won't work there.

Now the question is that is this advice backed by the quran or sunnah? Similarly some ppl might prefer and older woman to someone younger than them. U may have a preference to women older than u but does this mean you should now villainize younger women and say nobody should marry them??? When even Rasoolullah (saw) married a woman older than him and a woman younger than him.

A woman’s past matter. Most divorces are initiated by ungrateful women. A man should think twice before investing in such marriage with a divorcee. The same way a sister would think twice marrying a man guilty of domestic abuse in his previous marriage. You shouldn’t be concerned with your spouse’s past mistakes right? Well now in the man's case it matters lol.

Even after the jahiliya era when they used to bury their daughters stopped, we have some men continuing to mentally and emotionally bury women….take that in. Have we truly learned anything?

Tough one, but I can see Mahdi's point too i.e. you choose the person you feel will less likely divorce via his or her track record. You don't need any studies but your own life experiences and the experiences of others. Studies help but we don't always have studies at hand. Ideally, we need as much information as to make the correct decision. Yes, I agree his language can be problematic but then again I haven't seen brother Mahdi's videos in "full" just a few clips here and there.

We shouldn't look at a woman if she is divorced or not, the sunna thought us that the dinn, taqwa and morals of the person is more important than anything else in someone, a revert can be better than a born muslima and vise versa, so it's not a rule, it depends on the person

I think we should look at a women for who she is. But if she definitely got a track record, (in which she was the one causing the problems), then I totally agree with you. But we shouldn’t just throw every divorced sister away. I go by my own example. Someone I know got divorced. Nicest and pious sister. Husband was a total loser (family was well-known and well to do, he was just a slacker and worked at a pub while he had this whole thing about him being a engineer, married just to get a visa) , now in her case judging on her case record, it wouldn’t the fair to just throw her away, as she got nothing to do with how he acts. Same with a man as well. I think best is just do what you feel comfortable with. You want to marry a virgin go ahead. You got no problems marrying a divorcee, go ahead.
