Women don't always get education for a career. That is just to be knowledgeable and be ready for the real world. To be educated is their basic right and will effect our future generations if we keep potential mothers ignorant.

So many problems in this video… - Hiwa mentions the issue of fitnah and sihr when a woman publicizes herself to the internet… men are not excluded from this either. By this logic, Hiwa himself should not be subjecting himself and his relationship to potential sihr. If he has “so much gheerah,” he would understand that there is more benefit in remaining humble and hidden than becoming a controversial internet figure, especially considering how many people dislike his misogynistic takes. This attempt to grasp at straws to prevent women from existing in public spaces is insane, because there’s so many double standards you are not addressing. It’s even more so problematic considering Allah created hijab for us to be able to exist in public spaces in a safe way. What is the purpose of hijab if it was not to provide women and men with a means of safely existing in their communities? - I was gonna go through point by point and address how many mistakes you are making and how careless you are being in discussing women, despite how marginalized and oppressed they are, but this entire video is just an echo chamber. You primarily reaffirmed his beliefs, rather than spending a good portion of the video holding him accountable for the way he delivers his messages. Inshallah you reflect on this for future podcasts.

I think the disconnect is often the fact that the women who are hearing you say these things are women who already have smartphones and are already pursuing higher education. They receive what you say in the context of them being told to get rid of their phones and drop out of school. Your position should not be that you want to marry a woman who has a smartphone and make her give it up. It should be that you are only interested in marrying a woman who never had one. Honestly, you may as well say you want to marry a pious, poor woman. It'd be harder for women to take offense to that. But the reality is, if you're looking for someone who never owned a smartphone and isn't pursuing higher education in 2024, you're looking for a woman raised in poverty. If you go out of your way to marry a woman and all of her friends have smartphones and all of her friends and her siblings are pursuing higher education, you'll just be subjecting her to an unnecessary hardship trying to get her to go without these things or give them up for you. The other thing that bothers them is the promotion of your standards. If your videos go viral and more guys adopt your standard, it impacts their odds of finding a spouse who will be okay with them having a smartphone and pursuing higher education.

And there is nothing wrong with that and neither has anyone ever said it was an issue. Our religion allows us to educate ourselves as long as no boundaries that Allah has bestowed upon us are crossed. If a man does not wish to marry us for this reason thats his choice but that doesn't mean we should all suddenly discontinue our education and throw out our cell phones. This is also something that should be discussed premarriage so that certain issues such as this don't cause problems during the marriage.

You can't take an idea from the ideal Islamic society and lifestyle and try to put that in a society that does the exact opposite. Both of them have no idea the repercussion of the weight of their words. Allah will judge every word and every person who they have influenced. I wonder if they understand the weight of being a "Muslim influencer." May Allah guide us all. As for this topic specifically, I had a discussion with the men in my family about this, and this is my father's take. "Dont take islam and islamic teachings from random people. These men don't have a full understanding of islam and how to apply it to the current society that they live in." Basically, it's nonsense. If it was doable that a single income can support a family, sure, but that isn't the case. Plus, islam encourages muslims men and women to pursue knowledge and not be ignorant. A mother can't raise her kids if she is ignorant. College isnt needed for everything but if a woman isn’t married and she graduated high school, it's better that she pursues an education but to also increase her religious knowledge and make good use of her time. And Allah knows best.

It really disgusts me to hear such statements when men say, "Oh, women should do this and that," while men do whatever they feel like. Even if I wear a hijab and walk, men still look at you AS IF... And I do not know why I have never heard imams tell men that they should lower their gaze, while I have heard enough statements that women should do this and that. Double standards? Of course NOT, it's natural. This brother with arrogant face declares that they should protect women, well, my father and brother PROTECTED me, but I never felt love from them? Well done, brother, keep teaching men to protect with an arrogant expression on your face, and they will understand that they are protectors, that they are superior. Teach them to force women to accept something because they are men and because women should not. You guys are only thinking about yourself, "Oh, what will we answer to Allah SWT," while how many women suffer abuse from their fathers and husbands? Of course most of them will abuse and force their women if you say something with arrogant face and say women should not. Why don't you teach men what they should not first? edit: "There's no compulsion in religion" of course there's not until it concerns women. They SHOULD wear hijab(btw I'm wearing hijab by choice) if not they should be punished for that. Why don't you guys try to punish people for not reading Salah or for other fard that everyone should? Seeing men beating randomly women for not wearing hijab, taking by grabbing her? I was shocked. If you think you can force anyone for anything and think that you are following our prophet Muhammad pbuh then I have no words to say.

Every single woman MUST be educated no matter what, she doesn’t have to work but she MUST know and understand the world around her. Her mahr can be any price, you-Hiwa, don’t know her situation, maybe she’s asked for very high mahr because she’s a revert with no supportive family. @illyGalSloth2 ай бұрын
That's not the same. If his marriage fails, he can just marry someone else. Many women have no issues marrying divorced men. If a marriage of an uneducated woman fails, it will be very difficult to get a job afterwards or even get remarried. A 30 or 40 year old divorcee with no education and with no income will not be able to afford a university degree, which is often a requirement for decent-paying jobs, and her parents are very likely to be elderly and retired by that point and would not be able to afford sending her to college/university, and if she moves back in with them then money would likely be tight, assuming they're still alive. She would have very few options other than taking a minimum-wage job to make ends meet and avoid being a financial burden on her elderly parents. Education is a right for all Muslims, so why are you against it? A woman going through college/ university can still get married while she's studying or soon after completing her studies, so what's the issue? I see very little drawbacks for the men if they're wives are educated, but a huge risk for the ladies if they become middle aged divorcees with no education. Several of my friends have married during university or just after, all of whom are in their early twenties (between 21-23 years old) so it's not like they've delayed marriage because of it. So once again, what's the issue?
@DontOpenThisChannel2 ай бұрын
@@illyGalSloth I didn't said anything against it or in favor of it (education), I'm just exposing the lack of tawakul in Allah. @illyGalSloth2 ай бұрын
@@DontOpenThisChannel You say you're not against it, and yet you view educated women as a bad thing. It's clear from the way you speak about it. Also, having a backup plan isn't a lack of tawakul. Divorce is unfortunately quite common these days, and so we're simply ensuring we'll be fine if it happens. We do our part, and leave the rest to Allah (SWT). Secret marriage is haram, as it may cause fitnah if people suspect that the man is being unfaithful when he's seen with another woman, when in reality he simply has a second wife. It would also cause issues for the second wife since she'll have to hide her marriage, and would struggle when she becomes visibly pregnant. Additionally, the Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) has ordered for marriage to be announced: Abdullah ibn al-Zubayr (Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him and give him peace) said, “Announce the marriage.” [Ibn Hibban]. As such, there is a general consensus amongst the scholars that one of the conditions of a valid Islamic marriage is ishhar (announcement).

Look, the only thing that matters is halal/haram. Everything else is people's preference. It's VERY simple. If the following shar'i conditions are followed, then that's all that matters. 1. Segregated..sisters should study in female colleges in islamic countries or study courses/programmes online. 2. Hijab 3. The contents doesn't contradict islam 4. Permission from father(since most sister start education when they're still living at home.) 5. Permission from husband (before nikkah she has to tell him if she wants to continue it and he has to agree) There might be more. Allahu A'lam. Sheikh Assim Hakeem has 13 educated daughters who are all married. Some have bachelors, some masters and one has a PhD. This is halal. So instead of trying to stop worldly education for sisters, promote halal ways sisters should seek it. More people will be willing to listen because it is speaking about Islam and not your personal views/preferences. People can have their preferences, I personally want educated daughters in both deen(priority) and worldly(will be in halal environment), you won't convince me otherwise, nor will you convince the hundreds of imams and scholars whose daughters attend segregated colleges learning sciences and other things. I will not be putting a limit on knowledge. each to their own.

@@nxronite9994 so Muslim brothers should speak about the conditions of sisters seeking education under shar'i conditions, not say 'women don't need an education or don't need higher education'. At least then, noone can dispute the shar'i conditions because it's aligned with islam. The message needs to be clearer.

@@FaFa2221This whole education topic is about secular education, which many of the kuffar themselves say is a scam and brainwashing 😂. They say various times and Sheikh Assim has also said that as long as there is no mixing and fitna and deviancy being taught then it is halal.

45:28 I hope Muslims in the future can take knowledge from knowledgeable people, this is not how Muslim to speak about other Muslims. Especially since some people in this world it is not written for them to get married whether they die young like the kids in 🍉 or try to look for marriage.

Also what they said about the Muslim brother I watched his video and he actually ended up agreeing with him. He did not deserve that insults, He did not insult them.

Your wife not owning a phone sounds lovely in a fairytale land but once you do get married move away from your mother, father and siblings and start a family of your own you need that very device to keep you in touch with those people, to keep ties of kinship. I have a family of my own and we homeschool, if I didn't have this device I wouldn't see my parents face for weeks or months at a time, I wouldn't be able to help them with the several things they do need help with as everything is online nowadays. My children wouldn't be able to share their small happiness' with their grandparents and aunts, I wouldn't be able to find out the activities going on in our locality for homeschoolers and so much more. It's not the phone that is an issue, if someone wants to commit haram they will do it phone or no phone - choose the right spouse and you won't have to take these things away and keep a close eye on them for anything.

It is better not to listen to them. They are not giving a solution, but rather creating a confusion.

Doesn’t “virgin” in Islam mean unmarried, not necessarily someone who avoided Zina. I see the word isn’t being used correctly.

Why not just normalize that woman dont have to work but if they want to they can, especially in fields like education and health. Look at whats happening in gaza, dont you think those female doctors or other female workers in other fields are helping. Education has such an importance for a nation to produce and develop for the better yet we as muslims are still here discussing about whether woman should get educated or go to work. Let me tell you something there are woman who want to be stay at home moms and others who want to get educated and work. And we as muslims should not shame either of them for their choices. Most of muslim nations' current situation is so bad they cant even protect themselves from israel or other enemies. We should focus as an ummah to improve rather than being stuck on woman working or not. Also, if you guys are such manly man why not create space and opportunities for those woman who want to work or get educated or such things.
