In the junk journal community, we just call it collage instead of underpants. I'd never heard of that before. But, how funny is that? I just run across this video today and I need to tell you why exactly they got you on the videos where use use the word "underpants". You know, there is an entire subculture that's living right under most peoples noses and they aren't even aware it exists. It's a dirty, criminal, demoralizing culture that tortures children and uses them for sexual purposes. Some of the language they use have dual meanings and if you aren't aware, maybe people should take the time to look into this. I know these things because I am a life coach and hear this from victims all the time. So when some people think words are "cute", they may want to think about some little 4 or 5 year old child whose creepy daddy or uncle came sneaking into their room ever night and crawled into their bed and told them it was time to take off their "underpants". I looked at one of your other videos where the term was used at least 8 times in about 3 minutes and honestly it made my skin crawl. Send me the hate comments all you like because I don't care. There are things much worse in this world than keyboard warriors

I love this work, but really cannot see the point in putting down stuff then covering it, over and over. I have never been able to grasp this, not your fault, mine. I can understand that it would give depth, but after the bubble wrap and finishing layer, the underpants are totally lost, along with the next layer up, so what is the point of doing this? I am not criticizing, I am asking. No one has ever explained this. Great video though, and love the finished piece.👍👍👍

I found your videos a couple days ago and enjoy them so much. Thanks for sharing fun time and creating. Have learned a lot and will continue watching. Underpants makes perfect sense. Preparing for the day... underpants (1st layer), petticoats for the (2nd) layer, dress-up (be it denim or lace) for the (3rd) layer, adornments for the (4th) layer, cape, hat, outerwear to go out in the world for the (5th) layer. I could add other layers to chose from to dress for the day but underpants always a must no matter what time of day. Underpants for covering and protecting our altered books. you might want to remove some of the pages just because the pages get so overcrowded....it is hard for me to say for sure without actually seeing the book tho lanafalana....so start near the center and remove pages from the ends...later if you need to! yay...go play!

make sure your pages are very.....very dry donna, before you 'close your book'....also...baby powder will help....and rubbing a wax candle across the pages will help....i know...high humidity and heat...sticky pages...i hope these tips help donna....see you on the table...

You just made me laugh my socks of .... when you have shown the sign of “unmentionable”- cool as a cucumber ( can we mention a “cucumber?”)🤣 - still can’t believe KZbin gave you a hassle about it! - when you see some stuff here that really wants to make you turn green, you wonder what was a big deal to use a proper word, “underwear’’, in artistic context, used by an art teacher altering books using mixed-media! Sounds bit paranoid on their side to me; Love this spread - and the focal points rock ! I use similar focal points, but also use them to sketch - art training never ends! So it’s Two for price of one!😄 Gorgeous background, when you had said it turns fabric into leather-like , I almost jumped off my bed (yes, it’s 6am - and I’m watching your wonderful videos on iPadPro-big screen🙌), and wanted to run to the Studio and try some!
