I want to thank you for this video. I am not artistic or crafty at all and get discouraged easily. You made it so easy to follow. I am 34 years old and I finished my first art project EVER that wasn’t for school because of your tutorial. My book looks great and it has given me confidence. Thank you so much!

This was inspiring to me. I made several spell books. I wrapped the block of pages with Glad Press and Seal before I started so as to keep them safe from the glue and paint. It was especially fun to do this for some Halloween themed books for my young grandson. Thanks for the great tutorial!

oh oh oh! Love this! Saw a preview of the inside so I already know this gets even better. I know both my daughter and my niece would love this. I am wondering if I could substitute cheese cloth for the paper towels though. And I think when I try this instead of the brown paint I'm trying purples and greens (I know their favorite colors); probably in iridescent sprays. I am so excited to try this for myself. thanks.

just a fast heads up, if you put a dab of glue on the end of the next glue stick and push it in, it will hold and you dont have to play that game of pushing/holding it in till its far enough in so that it catches and you can let go. I rarely use my glue gun because of that and buy the longest sticks i can, lol. Some people are very proficient when drawing with the glue gun, i never mastered that technique. You remember when the fad was to make stamps with it? I gave up and complained on fb and some kind friend mailed me some in happy mail, =)

Very interesting. I love this look. I am getting ready to make a JJ of a similar nature. But my question is where can I find books written in Hebrew? I have a mixture of ethnicities in my genealogy makeup and want to make a series of JJ's featuring each one. I want to use as much vintage material as possible and it is very hard to find books from these here where I live. Do you know of a source where I can order from online? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thx dear.

@itsmejoyous7 жыл бұрын
look for buff and rub, in a little tube. if you can not find that, use gold metallic paint... fifty cents at wal mart, get a little on your finger, rub with you thumb till almost dry then rub it on the area you want gold. Will take a little longer but works and lots cheaper!
