It is nice that it now works. I usually have wasted 1 TV guided ammunition because of this bug for each approach at the battlefield. When this occured I tried the sight stabilization button but back then it doesn't so anything for TV guided weapons. Good to know it now works. Thanks Hunter.

Thank you so much for the info mate. Your videos are really helpful to us, CAS players. In my case, I changed to Laser Designator but I will try your method cuz it looks better. And I really hate when in lazed mode, (F for Helis) and in MiG-27 and Jaguars, the laser likes to lock the dead bodies or another enemies even if the enemy was over 10m away. Vikir aren't a problrm in this case but for planes and especially hellfires, its really hard and they miss a lot. A sudden slight chance in laze can make the hellfire miss. I only use laser on moving targets and use my hand for stanationary ones. Now, for planes, the problem is solved cuz I can deactivate the laser in time from your video. Hope they fix the laser acting like IR missiles and the another targets or dead bodies as countermeasures

Hey Hunter, thanks for the tip. I also found that if you have a keybind for "weapon lock (air-to-ground) then you can still use the activate target point to change your targets. I tested it with the A-10 early and F4E (USA) only. Hope this helps!

Hello my friend .. yes, I use this button to cancel the lock on of TV weapons and mentioned that in this community post kzbin.infoUgkxemyaTTCvu2TmSf26rJvpKd10AlCAX92F But the "Activate Target Point" button has no issues with TV weapons, the real problem is with "Laser Guided Weapons", I showed in the video that "Sight Stab" button can do good with laser guided weapons and still can do good with TV weapons as well, so the player can totally cancel the use of "Activate Target Point" and totally use "Sight Stab" instead, for everything. Now, since you are talking about TV guided weapons there is a very annoying bug related to this type of weapons, the sight just freezes if you made "red square mark" near a target, it happens when using both buttons, "Sight Stab" and "Activate Target Point", I made a report about it in CCs discord supported with this unlisted short video kzbin.info/www/bejne/gZicqYNugrCIsNU But I'm 90% sure they will not fix it, this bug age is 3 months and no fix yet.

@@Hunter_i86 Saw your unlisted video tried to reproduce the bug and I see what you mean. Very annoying. I was wondering why that bug wasn't happening to me and I realized it was because your aim with mouse is a lot more accurate. I recently switched to joystick and was not having this problem because my aim is really bad for "activate target point." Once I switched to mouse aim, I had no problem doing the bug because my aim was much, much better. I think I will use sight stabilisation now just in case my joystick aim gets better lol.

i've been 7 lighyears ahead of ppl apt, ever since i got my mig27m when it came out i always used the fucking sight stabilization, i dont even have the target point thing set up. for the tv missiles i simply have "weapon lock air to ground", pressing that deactivates the lock you have, on the lasers 1st press is lock, 2nd is the locked but can look around (the one that puts a sircle in the middle of the targeting square) and 3rd is unlock, this way the laser never turns off so its always following the ground and not what the plane does so you dont lose target when disabling a lock from a vehicle

Activate Target Point button came with CCRP and that's too long before laser guided weapons been in the game, Sight Stab button came later .. so people who knew how and what CCRP used the same button for laser guided weapons. I know about Sight Stab button since a long time and was using it sometimes to support activate target point, when I want to use the circle lock on. This can be noticed in many videos in my channel. 🙂

This issue is general with all laser guided weapons, try to use manual aim with laser guided weapons by both jets and helicopters when the target is surrounded by other objects.

Can I have a question for laser guided bombs (GBU)? How do you know, when is the right time to release the bomb (after lock)? Several times happened to me, that GBU did miss the target, even it was still locked on. Don't think too much about when to drop them, just drop them in a rational dive.

@@Hunter_i86 rarely now, but a while ago when I dropped my paveway, it wouldn’t guide towards the laser and it would just fly toward the horizon instead of going for the laser. Do you know why?

@@PaveWayMA Yes, because you were level flying and dropping them, just drop them in a slight dive and after you drop return to zero angle of attack. These laser guided bombs fly fast in a straight line, they will always overshoot if you drop them when flying at zero AOA.

A-4E carry Bullpup missiles, not Nords. I don't like carrying 5 Bullpups, I like diversified loadouts: - 3x Bullpup + 2x AIM-9B for multi-role operations - 2x Bullpup + Unguided Bombs is nice for long range kills and dive or CCRP bombing. - 2x Walleye TV guided bombs + 3x 1000lb unguided bombs is my favorite for getting multi-kills.

What keybind do you use to switch from 3rd person to bomb camera/locking view without having to cycle through the virtual cockpit as well as the cockpit view its self? I cant find the bind for it. For helicopters its Shooter but that doesnt exist for planes
