Hi I'm the person who made the satellite map (well its more of a map of space habitats set in the future), I'm glad you liked it! Took me about 10 months but it was a very on and off thing, but I did enjoy making it a lot.

Yes, Earth-Moon L5 is a point that follows the moon on its orbit. It is currently occupied by a cloud of dust called the “ghost moons”. The plan is to place a communications satellite there to facilitate communication on the moon.

I think that the last scenario is the most realistic. However, I think - as someone who has way more than dabbled in the British Argentina alternate history at this point - that Argentina would be much more Spanish-speaking and a good deal less English-speaking. The Spanish-English ratio would be more akin to Afrikaans-English among South African whites than to French-English in Canada that the map seen in the end of the video is suggesting. Also, Paraguay would still be independent.
