I genuinely think some form of mock naval battle sport would be a huge success. Like imagine a sport where two boats full of people try their hardest to knock each other into the water. You could have people with big foam bats and each ship could have a giant fan mounted to the front, that would be an amazing sport!

I am in NC. I can live comfortably up to 105 degrees without an AC, thats assuming its not that humid, which is very rare

At about 9:15, the reason why American walls are so weak is because we get earthquakes. We need to use flexible materials in order to withstand them. However in some places in the US as well as in Europe, the walls are made of brick to withstand tornadoes

9:18 as someone who lives in Oklahoma it doesn't matter if your house is a castle made of stone a tornado can throw a tree at it and it isn't gonna stop. Also north America just has extrema weather more often and when it happens it is usually of a higher magnitude compared to most of Europe to my knowledge.

Russia does indeed share a sliver of border with North Korea! Back in the day my Pioneer Unit went on a "Friendship & Socialist Goodwill Tour" (it's even longer & more bombastic in Russian) to North Korea and we took a train. I don't think there are any passenger trains since the USSR collapsed, but believe they still ship lumber, etc. via rail.

Fun fact, Austria and Serbia were close allies for the longest time until 1903, when the serbian dynasty changed. And even later the first serbian King Milan offered his country to join Austria in the 1880s, but Austria declined.

@@minestar2247 The occuption of Bosnia was a strain between Austria and the Ottoman Empire, not so much for Serbia. For Serbia its the changing of the Dynasty from the austrian friendly Obrenovic to the russian friendly Karadordevic. Also Austria was the Protector of Albania, which Serbia invaded in 1913, where Austria mobilized against Serbia for the first time.

The l 82 thing is because the british service rifle was comedically unreliable at its adoption to such a piont were they had to have a german company look at it to find a fix. The germans had to make over a hundred changes to the rifle to make it work with reliability. No clue on the first half though. Another fun story is how the british got there modern sniper rifle which reads like a true comedy.

ac units built in houses in norther europe ( actual northern europe, not UK, Denmark and Souto of sweden and west coast of norway. ), are actually danger to getting cold and freeze to death inside houses during winters, and northern sweden, finland, baltics are actually way hotter in summer. But, You cant insulate AC units, unless you buy some insane ones for a price not worth it, for just 3 weeks of extreme hot per year. :D Well, you can buy the ones that just circulate and cool off the air inside, but those are cheap garbages even in 2024.
