I love Coach, they’re some of my longest lasting bags. I can’t afford traditional designer stuff so Coach is a great alternative, I get quality for a decent price. I’ve found many second hand too and they hold up just as well as the ones I’ve bought full retail.

It possibly is a little more formal than a Neverfull in canvas, however, would very much be a direct equivalent of the emprente (at a much more reasonable price point).

I have a slightly different version of that Gucci tote you showed and she is one of the best thing I've ever purchased. To me, the coated canvas is a lot hardier than the LV canvas. She's been rained on, snowed on, generally faced crazy weather and she looks like she just got unboxed. Awesome alternative suggestions Cassie! The Coach Dinky gives me Fendi Baguette vibes, and as others have suggested, the Coach Cassie is a great alternative to the Pochette Metis. I have both the Dinky and Cassie and agree that Coach quality is very good and definitely worth trying/experimenting with. I love my Chanel bags but they are not everyday bags to throw around. The Coach bags however has the durability to withstand the rigours of everyday life such as grocery shopping and running errands etc.

Please take a gander at the Furla Oppourtnity Tote as a Book Tote alternative. It fixes everything...leather top handles, lined inside, loops for a strap, and metal feet. Comes in 3 sizes, largest is the same size as the medium Dior...$350 (U.S.)! I could not pull the trigger on that Dior no matter how much I love to look at it, with all that laundry list of "if only it had this" Took a chance on the Furla to scratch my book tote itch, thinking it's not TOO much to lose if I simply HAD to have the Dior anyway. It's been 2 months and I have never looked back. And wow I wrote a novel 🤣 sorry!

Ohh, that Bvlgari Serpenti Forever WOC is an inspired alternative, I really like it. Hell, I like all the alternatives as you have given such a great selection. The Coach Tabby surprised me but the more you talked about it, the more I can see it. They have a gorgeous peony type of colour called Taffy and that would be perfect (for me) for summer given I live in black, grey and white.
