Wow...Andy Biersack is so eloquently blunt yet down-to-earth. This is quite refreshing. Andy is so interesting to listen. Never an awkward moment when he talks. I have seen AFI on MTV's Ulalume festival with Paramore, Dead by Sunrise, and Gym Class Heroes back in October 2009. I've also had the opportunity to see Davey Havok, AFI's frontman last month for his Blaqk Audio side project. Truly incredible live performances for both concert experiences.

when I first saw BVB videos, i was going to a concert that was 2months away and wanted to look up them up cuz they were with BFMV. my reaction was "holy shit what did i agree to see? they scare me." wasnt used to seeing a band with makeup and long hair they way they had before. then i gave their songs a chance and now im IN LOVE with them.

They looked like across between KISS and Motley Crue in The Set The World On Fire era and I loved it!! I listened to Set The World Fire and loved it!! I love their current cd too!! I have both Set The World Fire and Wretched and Divine on cd and They both are great albums!!! They remind me of two bands I love and They rock in their own way too!! Go BVB!!!

Around halfway through last year I found 5SOS and became a big big fan. I noticed a lot of people also liked ATL, PTV & SWS. I decided to listen to 'King For a Day - PTV ft. Kellin' and it scared me because of the screaming 😂 I listened to the other bands and hated it and criticised it because why would you want to listen to guys screaming? A couple of weeks later I heard about BVB so I decided to google image them. I laughed and got confused becuase I couldn't figure out whether they were girls or guys so I watched 'In The End' and still couldn't work it out. Didn't mind the song though. About 2 months later I decided to listen to some more of SWS & PTV but never listened to ATL. I became a big fan of them and downloaded all their songs after realising that there was a message in the screaming. My family wasn't very happy that I was blasting screamo (Christian family). I ended up listing to 'Fallen Angels - BVB' and fell I love with that song but avoided all their screaming songs. Then I kinda stopped listening to them for a while and went back to my 1D pop songs including some 5SOS but wound up back and obsessed with BVB. I ended up getting every BVB, PTV & SWS song out and then went to FIR and ATL and all those bands. My mum started to buy me merch and stuff but didn't like the fact that I was listening to these bands. Then, I discovered AA and OM&M and she really got mad 😂. But she still doesn't like the fact that I like these bands but that's just becuase she hasn't listened to them (she thinks the screaming part is wrong). This music has helped me so much, especially BVB. The band members are insanely attractive like damn Andy 😍 but yeah thank you to all these bands and especially BVB because you helped me get passed my depression and everything ❤️

+Im Emo But In A Gerard Way (Sharley) We have the same story. But before I discovered BVB I discovered MCR first thanks to my brother (he also listens to some rock songs but not that much I think). Then when I discovered more songs of PTV, ATL, and SWS, I fell in love with this kind of music then that's how I discovered BVB. My mum also doesn't like the fact that I listen to this type of music and even told me that Andy and Ashley seems to be a bad influence! (I was watching an interview of them when she saw what I was watching lol). But those music helped me through everything I'd suffered and at the end of the day, they're the ones who make me happy :)

The first time I saw BVB was people were talking about Suicide Silence and RIP Mitch and I never got into that stuff and so after hearing some of their songs I kind of got scared to be honest so I decided to check other bands out and I clicked Asking Alexandria which was awesome and then another band and then coffin. I had gotten so fucking physically attracted to Andy that I searched him and all the other band members up and it's the best choice I've ever made. Good news is I'm in love with this band now and I hopefully will be forever c: Rock on BVB!

People compare BVB to blood on the dance floor???!!!! That band sounds like a 5 year old wrote the music. BVB has complex instrumentals and combines classic rock, metal, alternative and classical music to create something that pulls you out of this world. That's beautiful and it's really difficult to do. Good music takes you to a different place and they accomplish that more and more as new music comes out. I can't believe someone would ever think they are similar.
