Hi Chris, I tried the knock off AliExpress and it’s junk. No splines on the arm shaft hole and the cable holder is very wobbly. Needless to say, waste of time. I’ve already ordered the AltRider one as well as the brake foot pedal. Thanks for the content

​@royalty7396 thank you for sharing your experience about the knock-off. I think you'll be pleased with the AltRider products! Note that theirs doesn't have splines either. Because it's made out of aluminum, it "bites" onto the shaft without needing splines.

@@Mid-Life-Adventure The low quality knock offs are definitely a challenge for us. They often directly steal our design and make inferior product that leave customers disappointed to say the least. Spreading the word is one of the best defenses - friends don't let friends by cheap knock offs! 👍

I really enjoy your program, but I feel the pull on the Tuareg is somewhat very light. That being said, expanding your friction range by increasing your lever might shorten the lifespan of the clutch. Personally, I don't think it's worth the risk.

Thank you for the kind words, Marco! I enjoy all your insights on the forum. And I value your comments. The reduced pull on the lever is nice. And I do like the expanded friction zone...gives me extra control. I have it set at the half-way mark (23%). I was going to try it at the full 47%. But after considering your remarks, I think I'll stay at the 23%. There is still a little free-play in the lever. So hopefully it will be fine. But I will research this further. Thank you!

Hello Mark and Chris, we wanted to clarify, that as long as your clutch is fully released (your clutch lever has no tension or free play) there should not be any premature wear on your clutch. I hope that makes sense. If not please reach out, happy to dialogue further.
