Alubari represents an actual rail line in the Himalayas. Loops are used when train must ascend steep grades. The line represented in this game actually has loops. Loops are even used on rail lines in the US, such as the famous and scenic Tehachapi Loop in California.

If you want more trains just take a look at how many come in the snowdonia deluxe

I love the theme. Better than Snowdonia in that regard. Not sure I'm convinced enough to buy it tho, I've got dozens of games I haven't played yet, many of them worker placement. At least I'm not seeing a "feed your people" mechanism, that's a plus in its favor. :-) On the other hand, the idea you need a mechanism to counteract if players decide to stop doing things, doesn't inspire confidence...

Will this have any expansions for it? I was going to hunt snowdonia but honestly i really like this one. If it gets any exp like more trains and such i will get it instead donia.

Considering how many expansions and mini expansions came out for Snowdonia, I would find it hard to believe that this is a one and done.

This seems very similar to Snowdonia. Maybe with a small expansion

Why do you have such a hang up with box covers? I have more of a problem with the back of the box, that's where it should show off the game. There's something to be said for good design, even if it's just a nice fancy font

what's the other game based off of Snowdonia? mentions in the 30-40 seconds time.

Foothills (it’s very good)

@@koomo801 thanks! I heard of the game. I didn't know it was by Tony
@koomo8015 жыл бұрын
@@nguinguingui It's by Boydell and one of his regular gaming friends. Vasel did a good job I thought describing what makes it different. Good price, easy set up, not a shelf hog...I highly recommend it as a tight 2P worker placement game with minimal "take that". Franz' art looks great, too.

that part where you pour the game's contents on the table... IT HURTS

This is exactly like snowdonia. It's just exchanged coal for tea. I do, however like the look of this board better than snowdonia.

This started out as a new scenario for Snowdonia, but then grew too complex . So the designer turned it into its own game.

@@dhc3po I've just got all the new scenarios for Snowdonia from the latest Kickstarter so will be sticking with them for a while :)

People tried to bait me into playing this game by telling me it was a thematic game about tea after Ceylon fooled me. Thankfully I did my research and found out it was a train game......Not one I want to go near. 😂
