Aluminum radiator install Ford Excursion /F250 / F350

All aluminum radiator swap on a 2000 Ford Excursion V10. This is an awesome upgrade over the plastic tanked stock style radiators. Advertised 30% better cooling capability.

Nice vid. About to replace the radiator on my 2004 f250 this week. Its factory and lasted many years. Seeing your vid and others, I don't think it was necessary to take off the fan. Most people just push it back out of the way.

Not 100% necessary, but it will help not to damage the new radiator fins

You don't have to remove the fan. Just undo shroud and move it back. Radiator will come straight up

Noticing some minor coolant "Sweat" spots on the sides of my Explorer's radiator as well. Believe it's a murray brand. Seen an Aluminum variant online about to cop one. Great video!

Very long video. I just got one of these in and it seems the hard lines to the trans cooler don’t fit into the fittings these radiators come with. I didn’t hear you say anything about it. What gives?

The truck in the video was not provisioned for a trans cooler in the radiator, it only had an air cooler for the trans mounted in front for the AC condenser. You may need to get some adapters for your fittings

This radiator actually just came from Amazon! We tried a Mishimoto, and a cheap one. Links in the Description now

It was a copy of the Mishimoto. I have used mishimoto as well

YES! I have put over 1000 miles on this radiator so far, and even some major offroading for in the texas heat. I bought another for one of my other Excursion builds
