Alumni Graduation Speech | Rashad Ismail

In this video, UCR University Extension alumnus, Rashad Ismail, MS, delivers a motivating speech to the graduating class of 2024. Rashad holds a BS from OTH Regensburg and an MS from Columbia University in Biomedical Engineering. He received his Professional Certificate in Project Management from UCR University Extension in 2022. He recalls some of his most treasured experiences at UCR University Extension and encourages graduates to continue seeking growth. He offers some memorable words of advice - keep developing yourself into the person you want to become; be irreplaceable; growing means starting with small changes and being consistent; keep doing things that spark your curiosity; research and explore what is out in the world; and have faith that things will turn out as they should.
