While my ethnicity is Indian I was born in England 48 years ago where I still live, in the city of London. London built the World's first metro called 'Underground' in 1863; our Underground trains pick up electricity from 2 conductor rails. Some of the aspects of Kochi Metro I love are the train interior design and colours; I also like that the entire network is built above ground.

I am from Kerala, and I used live in London. The Kochi metro trains overall look way more modern than london ones, especially if you compare the metro to lines like Central or Piccadilly line. London underground trains also don't have things like air con(except probably district, Hammersmith and city and metropolitan line), so riding them in summer may get bit uncomfortable. But considering how old it is, I guess these things are expected.
