I "know" someone (son of my parents friends) who had a grey parrot, and that lasted for about 6 months. I don't know what happened to that poor bird, but I hope it ended up in a better home. This person has been an unresponsible pet owner his whole life, god knows how many cats and dogs he's sent away. Two dogs just the past 3 years. It makes no sense that no one tells him to stop. And it doesn’t smell of almonds, it’s just kind of an acrid smell.
