So it three 17 year olds standing looking at those limos. I don't understand how we were able to be there. So here is Ten Years After getting in the limos. So Alvin says what's up. My one friend says you were really bad tonight. Alvin says I thought we were quite good tonight. She had to explain to him in our lingo at the time was bad was good. So Alvin then signed pieces of paper for us. They got in the limos and left. There were two limos and just the band. We were right in front of Alvin during the show so I know he saw us during the show. My one friend was a really pretty redhead. They were spectacular that night. So...today (30 some years later..) was digging around, watching KZbin videos and found this .Had to get up and grab an axe and jam along. Brought back the same feeling !. THANKS FOR SHARING. .. I have collected many of their vynl albums through the years. We used to buy every thing we could find on Ten Years After, Alvin Lee. Back then no Internet so learning songs buy ear and jamming with others was the only way we had to learn and enjoy the music. Even the music magazines were just starting to publish TAB for songs. Have vol. #1. first issue of GUITAR SCOOL. now so many internet sites to learn from and sheet music that it's a lot easier to obtain this stuff. ------- IF YOU'RE INTERESTED IN PLAYING MUSIC, of any kind, DO IT. NOW. Its really not that difficult if you want to bad enough. BEST WISHES TO YOU.

Outstanding. Spirit and now this. Don't know what your connection is with French TV but... No Title is a sick gem. The overall dynamics, the ripping section with the double stops, the change of tempo and Alvin's vocal are just great. And Goin Home played at what sounds like "basement" band practice loudness level. Perfect for a small venue and the reason that many people like myself think of TYA as one of the more underrated English bands of that period. Right up there with Cream in my book. Awesome.

The British & American et al companies lost massive amounts of footage by taping over previously aired shows just to save money. Thereby losing brilliant historical footage of some of the greatest Rock n' Roll ever broadcast.
