Love these old movies, they dressed with elegance, spoke with elegance! Such class! When you think of the trash that is put out today I just shake my head wondering how much young people are being cheated out of some very good classic movies and role models........

I agree with you. My mother had three of those furs, they are called Martha. My mother was so elegant, and these movies remind me of my beautiful mother. I am 80 years okd!!!

A delightful movie. Barbara Stanwyck was as good as ever. A cute little boy and a story of a mother's love set in the upper classes.

Not sure if anybody knows this or not but Herbert Marshall lost his leg in the war and Hollywood kept him on! They were very careful to shoot upper shots of his body. My late husband told me this years ago. He was born in 1923 and followed his career. God Bless him and those who supported him. ❤️

I knew that he lost his leg. After watching him in Razors Edge with Tyrone Power I looked him up. He was such a good actor! He was in another movie with Bette Davis and he was really good in that one too. His biography said he worked really hard to walk normal.

I think she should wait until her son is old enough to handle the truth & tell him then. If they continue to have a loving relationship the child will be happy that she is his mother. If the don't have a loving relaltionship, she should keep the fact that she is his mother to herself.

I read " Little Black Sambo" to my 3 girls & my Mom read those books to us. By the time our 4th child came along, the book had been taken out of Public Libraries in the stupid belief that it wasa book that was Very Very disparaging to American Negro's. That Was Very Untrue. The cute little book took place in India. We don't have Wild Tiger's in America. So none to run around a tree and turn into butter. 😢😮 The Stupidity of the American Public Libraries. And Now - 40 years later The same places want ugly men dressed like uglier women, tell stories to small Children.!😢😮👿

“…..little black sambo….”😂😂😂 it’s amazing how that was placed in, of all the books the film makers could have used with a child actor…..is that what was thought suitable then?
