Hot water in the mix from the plant helps in the cooler/cold weather working time for the mud. Helps with chilly fingers on cleanup time too.

Way better than any of those rubber stamps that texture half an inch deep. This shallower texturing looks much better.

Those rollers look much easier than the rubber stamps. It may not leave as much texture as the stamps but looks nice.

I never see you treating your forms with some sort of release agent. Do you find it un-necessary or just never show it? AND, do you quit decorative concrete earlier than plain because it takes you a couple of days (pour, stain, seal) to finish the job as well as slower dry times for stain and sealing?
