I feel like stories where characters just talk are always the most interesting. It almost feels very symbolic with Rosie at the end considering her livery change in Season 21 and all is perfect. You really outdid yourself with this one!

I myself do find it difficult to communicate my thoughts to others and even when I do, I'm never sure if I used the right words. It's easier with those closest to me, but that's not always a guarantee. Even in a text format it can be a struggle. Maybe, it'll get better, or I could be in my 80s and I'll still have trouble with it. But who could really say. This is great video you've made here. Sometimes, you just need to have two old ass trains simple talking to each other to help lift your spirits. Merry Christmas.

This was such a beautiful video…so many feel pressure to be someone they are not and some of us get stared at by people just because they look different…I know I do…this idea carrying over to the engines is an interesting one but it also makes sense since they don’t age like people and some only know them from the books which set their expectations of who they are and what they look like

I have no idea how people could notice Thomas’ change. Teal is close to blue and he’s still the iconic shape. Some of those people are kinda idiots. Fuck, the way this has happened IRL before just makes it hurt though. You all know what I mean. Rosie in her colours at the end wrapped up the metaphor up in a nice little bow, I am such a sucker for stories that are simply the characters talking. You can go through powerful thoughts just hearing the characters let the thoughts out and Edward is the perfect character to vent to.

While I’m mixed on the color itself, (especially on Edward) I think for what it meams and represents, there couldn’t be any other color more suited than teal. Sure, Edward might have been called “Edward The Blue Engine” for almost 80 years, but that doesn’t define who he is. Now, he can be called just… “Edward.”
