You just taught me a lesson sis, doing the pony with your own hair and putting the clip-ins on top is the thang. I usually leave all of my hair out and feather the clip-ins between the layers, which leads to my own hair peeking through, but this is a look. I appreciate the tip. x

@@raydivine I’ve ordered the Nadula kinky straight v part wig twice from Amazon. Once in an 18 inch and the one I have now was a 22 or 24 but it was way too long so I cut it. I have type 4 hair and a big/normal sized head lol and when I noticed that a lot of people said that the Nadula caps were a little larger that’s what I decided to go with so I didn’t have to stress about it being too tight with my braids underneath. Even my mom says it looks like my real hair, I have washed and deep conditioned and dyed it and have never had any issues so far minutes a bit of tangling. I’ve had sew ins and clips ins and braids and v parts are personally my favorite type of extension. Hope that helps! 🥰

For those wondering clip ins can work for ANY hair texture. Simply choose the texture that works for your hair. You should NEVER sleep in clip ins due to "tugging" which can damage the hair over time. Seamless clip ins or tape ins are perfect for thin/fine hair. Regular clip ins are great for coarser hair. Just keep in mind seamless are flatter.

Thank you from us finer hair ladies (and especially those of us with smaller heads)!!! My hair is long and healthy… but it’s on the thinner side of life (just slightly thicker than yours). So I cheered when you did the low pony because that’s me all day when I wear wigs. I don’t know now to braid… I’m lazy and honestly it lays flatter than braids. And since I prefer natural appearances, I’m a low density V-part wig girl when I want a tad extra fullness and length to play with. BUT with clip-ins I’ve always just clipped/blended them in between my flat ironed hair (and never thought to do a low pony with clips ins). So thank you… I have to try this method and see if I like it better than my V-parts.

This looks great. 👌🏾I love your natural hair!!! It's beautiful and seems easy to manage (and seems like you don't get many split ends). Your hair may not be as long and thick as you'd like, but there are people sooo many girls/women who are praying their hair grows to your length and density.

I’m pretty much a wig wearer who does crochet styles occasionally. However, after your review I’m going to try some clip-ins. A definite time saver. The concept makes them so much easier and quicker to prep for and install. In fact, I can see someone making their own clip-ins very easily.

Yeah, I think these clip-ins are wonderful for thin/fine straight hair. I think thicker hair would have a much tougher time blending with the clip-ins and wouldn't look as sharp

I remember the clip ins! I stopped wearing them because they hurt so bad but I think I might give them another shot. I have the same type of hair as you do and it has not always been this way. Once I reached pre menapause my hair completely changed from thick 4C to this hair. Because of that I wear wigs 24.7. One video I would like to see from you is how you reinstall older lace front wigs. I have a difficult time doing that. Keep doing what your doing, I so enjoy your videos.

Have you ever tried a wet look, just a very light moisturiser and then gel over. Your natural hair would look lovely in this style. It would wave so easily. Your natural hair is nice and I think it could thicken, just a question of finding the right hair care, maybe supplements as well as food, rest, etc. It looks healthy.
