A friend who studies art history and spend some months in Rome showed me this place. I am not sure if it counts as secret but the Basilica di Santa Cecilia in Trastevere has a great mural that is not in the church. There is a door on the left to the facade, ring the bell and you will be buzzed in if it is during visiting hours. You will be greeted by a nun sitting there and you can pay the entrance fee to her, I believe its 2 euros. You will take a small elevator to the first floor where you can see the Last Judgment by Pietro Cavallini.

Hi there, how exciting! My vlogs have tons of tips for things you can do in Rome, and I sometimes share restaurants and things you should eat as well, so I suggest you check out some more of my videos before you come. For food, go to Trastevere and you won't regret it. Try carbonara, amatriciana, cacio e pepe (all Roman pasta dishes), supplì is one of my favorite street foods, gelato, wine, pizza al taglio and pizza rotonda! Hope you enjoy!!

I hope you are carrying pepper spray. Some of those places don’t look safe. I’ve heard there are a lot of beautiful unknown churches in Rome. They are works of art inside. Could you blog some of them? Thanks.

I've been living in Rome for about 8 years and nothing bad has happened to me.. I think I'm pretty situationally aware (grew up with a military dad) and I usually only go out during the day lol I think Rome is a fairly safe major city! Of course it depends on where / when you are out & it's always good to think about safety. I have vlogged sooooooo many churches on my channel! Have a look around at some of my older content from last year! And if you learn of a specific one you'd like to see, let me know! Always happy to go film video requests! 🥰💛

The best museum in Rome is MUSEO NAZIONALE ROMANO!
@AlyssaMaeFriend11 ай бұрын
Are you asking?
@giulianoradice471511 ай бұрын

You didn’t have to edit to say “get your fact right”. I read your comment the first time. Thanks! 😉

I edit the Word “er” to “is”. 🇩🇰We Danes are always mistanken for swedish. 😔Like if We Said the Ernest Hemmingway came from Cuba…

I knew he was Danish, I've been to Denmark.. I don't know why I said Swedish in the video, must have been tired. Sorry about that. This is an old video.. hopefully I've gotten better at paying attention to all the details... I always try my best to be accurate. I'm not an expert historian, just a person who likes to make videos for fun (and for free).. even still, people always find something to be angry about. 😔
