It not only gets better with each passing year, its message gets more and more important! Unfortunately the people needing to hear this message ignore it all. Regarding the environment and climate change and now regarding Ukraine. Alyosha was my favourite in 2010 and I was obsessed with her for a while and wanted her to win even though I’m German and Germany won that year. Alyosha deserved the victory more than Lena.

Nobody had faith in this song, it seemed, right up until the live performance. That's when it all clicked. It was also the best use of the stage design, in my opinion. Not the most memorable song, but certainly a memorable performance!
