@@synthesize5618 my guy, it's okay for people to have CRITIQUES of a show you like. I'm simply pointing out character inconsistencies with Darth Vader. He did not yell with Obi-Wan, he did not yell with Trilla. He did not yell with Ahsoka, he did not yell after ANH in the orig trig. It's almost like they realized that Vader is terrifying and can make his point without the need to raise his voice. So him raising his voice here, when he has not since 1977 is a bit ODD. This is the same man who snapped a rebel's neck while interrogating him before he got his answers, this the same man who cut Trilla down with no issues, this is the same man who killed his officers willy nilly for meer incompetence, yet let Reva live. It feels very out of character for Vader to give anyone a second chance.

Vader charging in at the end was so badass! Shame that Lola got turned into a tracker, though...and yeah, that dueling bacta tank sequence was good, but I almost expected a mental link between Ben and Anakin to happen while they were both submerged. Hope that does happen at some point and we see actual Hayden outside of the Vader suit. Also, did this episode remind you of Fallen Order at all, with the underwater base? Cuz it sure did me.

Dave and Jon wanted more legend content to be brought into the Disney cannon and that is the direction new Star Wars will go in the future. I have heard many of the people in the tomb are legend characters but I don't know enough of the comics, games and books to know myself.

After they escape the Death Star in the Millenium Falcon in A New Hope, Leia says "they're tracking us, it's the only explanation for the ease of our escape". I think the tracker being placed in her droid in this Ep sets up why she was so sure they were being tracked leaving the Death Star. Nice little detail.

The jedi in the tomb are dead, unfreezing doesn't matter, they're just being preserved (maybe for cloning force-sensitivity?). The old man the camera focused on is Tera Sinube, in CW he helps Ahsoka retrieve her lightsaber from some thieves. He had a white lightsaber inside a cane.

The writing is so bad. That scene where that guy is like, "We aren't going to help you....Actually, no we are going to help you." I understand this type of scene pops up a lot in media and is pretty cliché at this point, but at least usually the protagonist has some sort of final statement that helps change the person's heart into helping their cause....But why even bother having the guy "not help" if he was just gonna instantly help with no sort of sway from the main character, like just avoid the scenario all together and when Obi-Wan asks for help, the guy can just say, "We'll help any way we can. What can we do?" The scene just comes off as lazy and dumb...Like did no one question this during filming?

The entire show is bad because of the ignorance of everyone involved. From all the discontinuities with previously established Star Wars canon, it’s clear that the entire production crew combined has watched probably 30 minutes of the original and prequel trilogies. Forget about the Rebels show and other media. This show is catered to casual fans who don’t know or understand the lore and basic plot points of episodes I-VI. Disney’s disrespect to longtime fans is infuriating, but what’s new, they were never in it for the real fans.

Major problems with the show SO FAR: - Too much filler for a 6 episode show (It’s paced like it has 15 episodes, not enough focus on Kenobi/Vader) - Kenobi has been neutered for too long (No idea how he’s gonna become more like Alec Guinness Obi in 2 episodes) - Reva gets too much screen time but still somehow feels like a flat character so far - Only one shot of Hayden so far… (no he’s not in the suit, so far atleast) - This episode shows Vader isn’t just trying to “enjoy the chase” like everyone thought so why tf did he just let Kenobi go last episode? - Vader doesn’t exhibit enough unhinged rage or aggression which is his known to be his greatest trait (He especially shoulda killed Reva this episode and went rage mode on kenobi in ep 3) - Too much of Kenobi searching for Leia, once or twice is fine but they’re going overboard - Hasn’t even addressed how Obi is making sure Luke is alright on Tatooine - Perfect episode for Clone Wars flashbacks while Obi is in the bacta BUT NOPE! - Lackluster soundtrack (They don’t even pull out legacy tracks) - Lackluster Choreography (Did you see Reva blocking the shots from the snowspeeder? Hilarious!) - Some scenes feel very fan-made whether it’s on the cinematography or budget - Slapping Stormtroopers…🤦‍♂️ - Obi doesn’t steal Stormtrooper armor LITERALLY ONE OF THE MOST STAR WARS THINGS TO DO - Shaky-cam, no one likes shaky cam - We waited all week for a 33 minute filler episode…WTF? - BONUS: Apparently a writer working on the show revealed he had no idea Kenobi knew Anakin became Vader and thought Kenobi knew Anakin survived the Mustafar battle before having to consult with Pablo Hidalgo (HUGE RED FLAG ON A PERSON WRITING THE MOST IMPORTANT STAR WARS SHOW EVER!)

I rewatched Part III after all the talk of Vader letting Kenobi go, and the fire the second time was much larger than the first time. Whatever it was Tala shot, it didn't just reignite the fire, it added a bunch of fuel to it, and you can see Vader flinch away and shield his eyes.

Awful. The fourth episode hit rock bottom. The stormtroopers do not see Obi-Wan right in front of them, he doesn't use a stormtrooper outfit, fragile Tala knocks out hefty men in helmets with light spanks and communicates with Obi-Wan in a crowded place, Reva does not read her thoughts with the Force, nobody notices Leia's legs under the coat and Obi-Wan's face, the base of the inquisitors is not guarded at all, fly whoever you want and bomb everything around ... Vader is also furious that they were released, although he himself did the same in the last episode...

Obi is my favorite in all of Star Wars. And so far he feels like a secondary character in his own show. They’re just doing the “save the princess” thing for the third time now. The show is called kenobi, let’s actually focus on kenobi. We’ve gotten more from a child actor and the third sister than we have from the actual namesake. It’s had cool moments. But all around, this has been a massive disappointment. I hate how they blame fans for careless writing. They take two iconic characters, make them feel like a background to the story, and then blame the fans for being mad about it.

Hey, Alyska! A paint-by-the-numbers fourth episode. You'd think security would be tighter for the Empire and the Rebellion. In our world with present-day technology, spies sweep for tracking devices and bugs as a matter of course! Tala's infiltration was far too easy and the Rebels not thinking to scan for trackers is just absurd. Also, what detained Vader aboard his ship so long that he missed out on interrogating Leia himself? You'd think he'd want first crack! Nice parallelism in the bacta tank. Nice blue lightsaber glow in the dark. Nice flood in the hall straight out of "Fallen Order". Nice display of brass balls by Tala confronting Reva with bald-faced lies. Nice moment of aggravation by Reva while getting smartypants replies from Leia! Lol. Creepy Jedi-in-amber collection that included yak-faced Cosian Master Tera Sinube from "Clone Wars"! Nice to see O'Shea "lil' ice chip" Jackson, Jr. show up as a Rebel widow. He's Ice Cube's son. McGregor is giving it all he's got but this show is far too simplistic. Here's hoping the last two episodes salvage this bland affair.

John Favreau created the Mandalorian series, though going into details about the show production, him and Dave Filoni are the executive producers which they have the final say. Even though KK is also the Executive Producer of the show as well, though I don't think she has the full control of the show since this is Favreau's creation. What's sad about the Kenobi series that it seem she has the final say, and just by watching 4 episodes it seems that the screenplay was tweaked to make it less dark which doesn't make sense. Wasn't this story suppose to be about The Dark Times? So far it doesn't look that way.

Despite the odd silly moment, which honestly isn't unusual for SW, I'm really enjoying this series. Wish this episode was longer. Love smol Leia and her relationship with Obi. I feel like writers often use kids as idiot objects to push plotlines along, which she did at first by running away a lot, but she's turning out to be a badass mini princess.

Call me crazy but after seeing this episode, I think they are intentionally drawing parallels with the plots of the 6 original movies. They're not mirroring everything obviously, but every episode so far has had at least 2 or 3 story similarities to it's corresponding movie number, and so far this episode has been the most obvious in it's similarities (in this case to A New Hope). Leia gets interrogated about the location of an anti-empire group, Obi-wan sneaks around trying to rescue her, while another character is disguised as an imperial officer. The main villain then allows them to escape so they could track them. I don't think it's a coincidence that they broke this series up into 6 episodes.

The Empire may be evil, but they definitely have a sleek and cool aesthetic, both in their uniforms and their base designs. Clean gloss black, white and red mood lighting in their bases and ships. They definitely hired the best design team available in the galaxy because they're winning all the cool look awards.

I have simped for and stanned the past three episodes in spite of their flaws because there was enough to enjoy myself. But this was just terrible, it was an awful episode in so many ways aside from one or two cool moments that are not enough to sustain a positive interpretation. And the last two episodes are certainly not going to be an improvement over this, so let’s just get this over with.

why would you put a tracker on a prisoner's droid in the most secure and most feared base in the Empire? just plot armour to keep Riva alive. there's a rumour Riva would get her own series after this, I hope not, at this point all she has is rage. The Tomb, is that all it is? i was wondering if Grogu spent any time there and that is why he disconnected with the Force, but how did he get out? There's what, ten years? between this and the Mandalorian, is the Base Inquistorious still intact for the Mandalorian and Luke/Ahsoka to investigate.

It is still the lowest rating between the four released so far but all the nostalgia with the dead Jedi (RIP Master Tera Sinube😥) plus all the callbacks to Fallen Order with the Fortress Inquisitorious and Obi Wan relearning to use his saber to deflect blaster bolts was really nice to see (it was just me or was he using some form III moves there?). 😁😊 The escape was still silly (Leia inside Obi Wan's robes) and i think this episode should have been at least 5-10min longer to not feel rushed in some parts. But in the end the good things surpass the bad things in Part IV. Now i just hope the last two episodes are bigger (similar to the first one in size).

People are forgetting even at 10 years old Leia is more powerful than her. Leia as a Jedi became more powerful than Luke and when she turned to the Darkside after Han death she was one of the most Powerful Sith ever. Leia would lose to wife of Luke Skywalker Mara Jade who was a Sith turn to a Jedi, To save her husband Luke she destroyed the bridge her Leia was on and no Leia didn't Mary Poppins through the air Leia and Mara Jade fell 400 feet to there death.

Not sure what it was but this was my favorite episode! Maybe the Fallen Order connection? Something didn’t quite feel right with the first 3… But except for some of the fight scenes being a bit goofy I enjoyed every minute. I’m a happy fan today nothing to complain about lol

Hi Alyska how are you today I hope everything is going well with you and you're keeping yourself safe as always ask for this episode it was good it was amazing as for princess Leia she has a warrior Spirit she didn't give out the base she didn't give out no information she didn't say nothing and she didn't give out anything as for Obi-Wan Kenobi fighting with the lightsaber again that was awesome but still dealing with the force he still has to work on that but it was still awesome to see him a fight with the lightsaber well we only got two more episodes left we all have to see but until then just take care of yourself as always and be safe
