I just got one a few days ago, gives me so much nostalgia, I had a piano black one back in 2010 was when I got my first one. I played sims 2, little big planet, ratchet and clank, I missed it so much I had to get it back. Definitely worth the purchase.

I'm glad to see that I'm not the only person who is still interested in having a PSP… For my part, I once had a PSP 2000, but I accidentally broke it, so I decided to sell all my games and accessories (having decided that the era of the PSP was over for me). But a few days ago… I decided I wanted to have a PSP again. So I bought myself THE PSP that I really wanted to have, no matter the price! I took a PSP 3000 (Mystic Silver version), which is also a Japanese edition (even though I live in Canada). And I was also able to find my three favorite games on PSP, also brand new and factory sealed! I'm the kind of crazy person who prefers to pay full price for new. But I know that in the end it will have been worth it. 😊🤗

Don't even worry about the disc coming out of the case. Just place it back in carefully and play it. Some of the earlier PSP games shipped with flimsy cases, they got a bit better designed as time went along. If it bothers you, replacement cases are still available on Ebay.

I recommend looking into Japanese exclusive games as there is a ton of games that never got a worldwide release. Also I recently bought a radiant red PSP 3000 recently for £46.00 (with charger, 4gb memory card and storage case), really excited to get back into PSP games again as this console has so much to offer. Love the pink colour btw!!

The UMD casings are so goddamn awful that they'll either open up easily, or they'll crack. My advice: Install a custom firmware on it, rip those UMDs into ISOs onto a microSD card (grab a microSD card to Memory Stick Duo adapter), and play them that way.

the Wi-Fi not working is due to the type of security your Wi-Fi uses. You have to use a 2.4G network, and you have to change the security type. There are KZbin videos out there about it. I have the same PSP, and I haven't been able to update it because of the Wi-Fi thing.

The 3000 is prone to CD drive noise and problems BUT your system looks almost new you scored. There are thousands of PSP systems in Japan for sale on EBAY and to be honest they take good care of their stuff over there, you can find almost new condition systems for $60. You should consider getting one from Japan ESPECIALLY a PSP 1000 they are so much better built. I've owned them all and can tell you that the 1000 is better to have now, even with the con's like a slightly less brightness you can mod it to ply thousands of games. The 3000 has an amazing screen but you would totally dig the quality and for the price its worth having another one just for the cool factor alone😉

i just went looking for an ordinary psp on ebay to replace my childhood one bc it has water damage :( BUT! saw one in this color and i have never clicked buy now so fast in my life i’m so excited for it to come. also if you like the sims, sims castaway for the psp is SO GOOD as well (sims 2 and castaway are the reason i was looking to replace my broken psp in the first place)

The WiFi on PSP requires lower encryption. You can create a guest user with WPA security level on your router. Since it's not secure use just WPA these days, you can activate just when you use your PSP. You still can access PS store on the PSP. If you have purchased games there, you just go to the download option and download from there. You will not be able to find games in the front page but you still can search by the name of the game. The best way is buy on the PS3 and download your PSP game there or buy on PSN and download on your PSP from the download history.

Lol i bought it in 2014 and a month after , it was discontinued . I don't regret a bit of it , buying PSP was totally worth and i have some great memories playing it too . 😁😀 It's just the charger which stops working every 6 months or so . 😡

Loved your unboxing video and the pink psp. Heck, I'm a guy and I really dig the pink color, no joke. You should try popolocrois, from the reviews and gameplay, it looks like a fun rpg. To be honest never in my life have I owned a psp but when I do, popolocrois is the first game I'm buying. I also recommend: :Return to Popolocrois a story of seasons fairytale" its an rpg with a combination of farming. Really fun!

I use a program called PSP Video 9 to convert movies to watch on my PSP at night in bed. Not using UMDs will increase your battery life and it's quieter too.
