Thank you for mentioning and supporting vaccination against RHDV2. I’m a vet tech at an animal shelter and we vaccinate all our adoptive bunnies as well as spay/neuter. Even indoor only rabbits can contract rabbit hemorrhagic disease, and the mortality rate is unbelievably high! Also, thanks for adopting! Zero is gonna love having a husbun!

I love how your rescue took Zero and looked around for a good match, but when I adopted my buns from my local shelter they basically said "Yeah no you got a whole ass room, just throw them together it'll be fine, they're opposite gender :D" Well, it did work out after bonding them, and I wasn't worried either since my male bunny was the nurturer in his group, he would always groom and snuggle up to the scared/nervous/stressed bunnies in his pen until they calmed down. He did the same for her, they are inseperable. But damn what a difference in attitude lol

So sorry about the bonding in the replay. It can help if they have a bigger xpen. Def outdoor time helps for sure 💜 the chasing can be causing from such a small space because of them wanting territory spaces of their own. So much patience it can take with bunnies. Lots of it 😂I swear more than dogs turtles cats birds lizards 😂 which I have all Ollie my bun def took longer to bond just with me not pushing anything hoping it all worked out for you 💜

I’m outside with my bun. Your channel helps me remain calm and relax, as it’s been a bit of a stressful time with my bun recently (rectal prolapse with a possible infection), so he’s been on three types of meds this week. I’ve been stressing out because we are not too sure what exactly is causing everything, but he is thankfully more like his normal self. Long and short of it, my bun and I love watching your videos.❤

I appreciate your discussing the behavioral issue that came up. This is something that worries me as my neurodivergence makes it hard for me to interpret and respond to behaviors that I am not a part of.

You mentioned zero has been managing to chew through cord protectors and I was wondering if you had tried using rubber hoses putting clear pacing tape over the protectors like you would with baseboards and wooden furniture may also work as a deterrent

They are so adorable together , I have two bunnies called Rosie and ruby they are both 7 years old. When/if anything happens to them I would definitely adopt two more as I just love them. Jack is so cute I love his different coloured ears x😍

HEY! By the way, your litter box in your rabbit's enclosure is in critical need of hay. They need a good amount of hay so they can poop, burrow, eat, etc. My bunny has 70% hay, and 30% bedding material; which is very absorbent. Plus I've found gives them a lot of mental stimulation to dig in.

Thank you so much for all your videos . I recently found a guinea pigs outside in the tx heat ... She didn't make it after 5 days of care . I immediately knew what size cage she needed , the hay and veggies . The heat was just too much and her being an older pig she only weight 462 grams ... It broke my heart but I had everything for another and so I went out and got two boys . I feel like such a good piggy parent because of the research I have from you .

Both of my bunnies got the vaccine!! I’m in Oregon, My vet did the same thing of requiring the vaccine for all bunny patients! My bunnies were already together so they dis have to quarantine for each other!

What cuties! The mounting is a dominance thing it will happen from time to time when the hierarchy needs to be in check. Zero now has to adjust sharing her mom( yes she recognizes u as her property and licking is scent marking she marked that tunnel as hers the min u placed it in lol) as zero is the dominant one sometimes if they feel the subordinate is getting more attention they will want to put them in check! Your all doing great wut cute babies! Hang in there it should only improve as time goes on!

I have a male bun similar in age to Jack, and he will poops a lot outside of the litter box and pees in any bed I give him (he’s ruined 2). My vet told me that some young adult male buns are like that, they are making sure other animals know this is their home. But I guess at least poop is easier to clean than the pee and not as smelly.

When my buns were bonding my female chased my male bun. And it was absolutely crazy. But after a couple days they got better. Just always keep an eye on them.

Oh! I crochet my cord protector. Sounds stupid as easy to nip through yarn but she totally loses interest in chewing when I cover with crochet but chews through various kinds of cord protectors. Go figure!

I feel your pain on the vet thing. I don't have a car so finding a rabbit savvy vet at all that I can get to has been excruciating, never mind having to save up for vaccinating 2 bunnies. I wasn't lucky enough for the respective shelter and rescue to do it for me, haha. Congrats on the new bonded pair! Unfortunately for me, Thurberi still doesn't like Elowen, but I'm determined to keep both, even if it has to be separate. This video reminded me how nervous and excited I was when adopting. I recall having a panic attack when first adopting Thurberi because he and the cat were terrified of each other, but Elowen went much smoother lol.

Aaaah so lucky to have this kind of bunny rescue around you. I adopted two boys from my local animal rescue. They were very nice but there was no room for me to get to know the bunnies. I had to just stick my hand into their cages and that was intimidating! But all the bunnies were very nice. They only had boys so I adopted two boys. They hate each other so they are housed separately 😅.

I am bummed out that they don't get along. They are so aggressive to each other that I'm afraid to continue bonding them. I would hate for one of their noses to get ripped up.

I have a male bunny (fixed) for a year and wanted to get him a friend I got a female who was a couple months old and a couple weeks after I got her I fixed her and then introduced them together they immediately clicked I had no problem with bonding them they love each other it’s so sweet cause I’ll walk bye and they would be cuddling and grooming each other it been 6 years and I have never had a problem with them being together.
