Speaking for myself, I gravitated towards this channel for the content on Blackpool and the surrounding towns like Fleetwood. One of my favorites was one of your old videos where you took the tram from starr gate to Fleetwood and back again. You don't need to change a thing, love the content. I watched both of the videos Steve did from Starr Gate to Fleetwood and back in the middle of the night. My partner couldn't understand why I watched the videos, when I could take a tram to Fleetwood and back any time I want. But Steve always have great commentaries, he always have something very interesting to say about a building, that 99.9999% of us wouldn't see. Steve's trip back from Fleetwood is the only time that I would 'travel on a tram in daylight' that I wouldn't see the sea, because I love the sea too much to see what's on the other side 😊

When I'm watching channels more so about Blackpool I prefer to see a variety of videos and Stephen as you are a local you will have sent so many changes good and bad I also like the fact that you are now branching out meeting other fellow KZbinrs as that will bring in new traffic for you. Actually you don't really show the true negatives (drugs, beer monsters, street people etc) that others delight in showing. I especially enjoy your trips out of town - sort of a mystery day trip. I love your videos Stephen. In my 20’s and 30’s I used to go to Blackpool every year with friends on a weekend away for fun and laughter. No place like it. I like Blackpool and used to live there as a child for a while. I do feel not enough funds and attention are being given to the rest of the town though. I know it's to attract Tourists, but ya only have to go one street back off the promenade to see the roughness. I think the residents deserve better from their council as well as catering for Tourists. Keep up the good work Stephen.

Both sides are fine Stephen. You have the balance right. It is essential to show the rough bits otherwise the problems will get ignored. Blackpool needs investment in its poorer areas and your efforts brining attention to the need for this. On thing that should reassure everyone that no matter how run down the area it is predominantly safe. Keep up the good work. It is much appreciated.

Hello Stephen. I started coming to Blackpool with my daughter a few years ago, I hadn't been for years prior to that due to me having a bad opinion of it. This has changed over the past few years and I love spending time there, especially with my daughter, though I can often be found walking from Blackpool to Fleetwood on my own. The view from the coast is fantastic and I can see why you like to photograph it so much. Personally I think you do a great job job of showing the good and the bad. Keep up the good work, maybe I'll bump into you for a third time.

I think it’s great that you show a lot of Blackpool which is unique and not generally seen by holidaymakers. I too was born in Blackpool in 1953 in Glenroyd Hospital. I also went to Palatine, but I left to join the RAF in 1969. Keep it up Steve it’s fantastic

Remember the TV program a few years ago, 999 what’s your emergency when it was filmed in Blackpool ? The police sergeant called it the Wild West and a Fire Fighter called it a Hollywood Serade where the front is all glitz, then few streets back it’s not as nice. I think you balance it correctly Stephen, you mostly portray Blackpool in a positive light but aren’t afraid of showing the less glamorous side.

I think the balance is correct, Stephen. I lived in Thornton as a kid and found people friendly & helpful. I also live near a tourist town and there's rough bits by me as well! I suppose people don't come to Blackpool for Central Drive etc; but it's interesting to see what everyday folks have to deal with. Cheers.
