Why a drop of drug present on tip of needle at end of mounjaro injection?
Did my Mounjaro injection go in?
Have I wasted any portion of my medication?
these are some questions that I get asked commonly from patients using Mounjaro. So here's a closeup of injection device with explanation of why a drop still present at tip of needle at end of injection.

Thank you for this!! I just injected mine and it didn’t hurt at all, in fact I had to double check to make sure that it actually was done right because it was way too easy and didn’t feel anything

I did the same thing 😂! I was thinking there's NO way I didn't feel that, especially with the needle being that large 🤣

What if the needle is bent to the side after injection? Does that mean the medicine wasn't dispensed?

@verlaryder it's unlikely to be a wasted dose because the injection dose has plenty of fluid and if no fluid seen outside, the dose has gone to the proper site under the skin

I injected mounjaro on my belly for the first time but i dont feel som bump after injecting like my thigh is it normal ? I mean that i felt like nothing was injected but i see there is NO drug in the needle ! Please help 😢😢

@TFS0096 that's completely Normal because there is more loose tissue on abdominal wall than on top of thigh. You have injected properly if no fluid left in pen and nothing dropped outside like a jet of fluid

Why is the U.K. harder to work ?
