I can tell that you really get Pink Floyd. This Pulse concert is, in my opinion, the greatest rock concert ever. The phantasmagorical light show, David's haunting vocals and soaring guitar solos, Richard Wright playing divinely on the keys while Nick holds down the beat as the great back-up singers add their heavenly voices------there is really nothing like this mesmerizing Pink Floyd sound, and there never will be again. So, keep reacting to this fantastic concert. Every song literally shines. Every song will leave you spellbound.

This song always makes me cry. David's solo will rip your soul from your body. I have asked my loved ones to be sure it is played at any memorial service for me.

Sat front row center for this Tour. A night I’ll never forget. Love your reactions to “Floyd,” they’re honest and beautiful. Their body of work continues to affect listeners, old and new around the globe in the same way. Their universal themes and legendary melodies continue to bring people together, in the understanding that we are more alike in our aspirations than we sometimes realize. If you haven’t reacted to this already, one of many highlights of the Pulse Show “Shine On You Crazy Diamond” is a must. Original saxophonist D. Parry’s double sax outro solo is a must see moment. Love the Channel. Regards

Saw them a half-dozen times at the CNE in Toronto... twice in Detroit... such a great show... always with such timeless music... I've loved them since I got 'The Wall' on vinyl for my 11th birthday, in 1979. If you haven't heard it already, listen to "The Great Gig in the Sky", but the **studio** version. It was done by a lady named Claire Tory, who ad-libbed the whole thing. It's musical perfection, your soul will leave your body. Live versions are okay, but they are just a copy of the radiance that is the studio-version.

Great reaction, it’s ok to cry, Pink Floyds music can have that effect on people 😊. David Gilmour is a guitar master. He has a way that makes instruments sing and touch your soul. You need to watch Sorrow , Coming Back to Life, Wearing the Inside out, Great Gig in the Sky , Keep Talking among all the other great Pink Floyd Songs😊. Pink Floyd is sooo good.

I went through a kidney transplant 4 years ago, and the post surgery eas though, due to a couple of issues. This song was, for the many hours I was alone in my room, looping inside my head. It was during the peak of Covid so visits from my family were not allowed. This song was, in many ways, my life boat. High Hopes indeed.

In the "Live at Pompeii 2016" version, David adds a much longer acustic guitar solo at the end of the song. There is also a version on HDPinkFloyd where David replaces the electric bass guitar with a stand up bass and adds a cello to compliment his guitar. Good alternatives to this version.

I just now subscribed. You appear to be spiritually centered, and can sense God speaking through things not many would expect. I expect spiritual messages from Yes, and a few songs from U2 and old Genesis. But Pink Floyd? I guess that what happened after they lossed Roger Waters. Thank God that Nick and David kept the band going, bringing Rick back too.

When words fail, tears fall. That's what PF can do as it tears into our soul and make us reflect on how vain and temporal everything can be! PF is the only secular band that slowly & ultimately led me to Christ more than 20 yrs ago. Subbing to you sis. Recommendation: give "On the Turning Away" (live, Nassau, NY version, or Delicate Sound of Thunder dvd)--a song about society's apathy specifically for the homeless...

If I told you the miracle at JFK Stadium that 100,000 people witnessed during the 3rd encore as the rain started, it would be difficult to believe me. I was there, and I just can't believe that God chose Pink Floyd to pull off a unbelievable miracle. Why Pink Floyd?
