Found myself nearly doing the splits a couple times recently on FH throws. This comparison helps me to understand how that's happening, and how to fix it. Thanks!

Any analysis that uses Fulcrum, I know it's legit 👍💪 Good work with your content. Came over from an OT video mentioning you.

Should the AM player also stand up a little taller (not crouch down) to be able to use that left leg as a brace better?

Would you say that the player on the left (AM) he is PUSHING OFF his rear foot.. which tips him over and doesn't allow him to brace properly on the front foot (example of pushing off the hill in your slash thru video) whereas Ricky (pro) is rotating from his rear side and is maintaining torque/ "squeezing between the thighs" or hitting the gas pedal or driving w/plantar flexion (examples from both swivel chair drill and talking about the one legged drill in the second half of the video). That's what allows Ricky to "shift from behind" and allowing his elbow to lead forward and eventually "pound the hammer".

Looking at this again, I think the AM is losing hip depth into the plant, so he pushes the hip over/open, instead of leveraging it forward "from behind". Wish the camera angles were matched up.

@@seabas22 Thank you for that detail! I always love your instruction. Just wanted to see if I was thinking about this correctly 🙂

And yet all the points still apply

@@deyo7s sure, but seemed to me the reference lines were there to make a comparison in terms of how much the bodies moved left/right of the lines
