Your fastest lap was 1:37, the lap record is 1:15 by MICHAEL SCHUMACHER with the F2004, you were driving with a car 1.5/2 seconds slower. So you were driving about 20 seconds slower. That's very, very good, to be the first time driving a F1 car and not being a professional racing driver. Amazing driving. If the track hadn't been with cones to guide you, and you had pushed a little bit more, maybe you would have made a 1:30.

Amazing, the car you've driven, has been driven by Pastor Maldonado (who despite all the jokes on him is a race winner), and also Rubens Barichello, legend with over 300GP starts and over 10 wins, and many times runner-up in the championship. This car was actually the one he drove in his last race before retiring. You picked quite a nice car and drove it well ! After F1, will you go for a Le Mans prototype ?

Actually it's the main reason they only let people drive 3 laps, apart from lack of fitness for most drivers. Because they get overly "brave" after around that time.
For someone that has only raced rental karts, you dealt with those braking forces impressively and the drive was pretty impressive too

By far the best amateur F1 experience performance I saw. I mean, everyone will triggered anti-stall on their first start, even Hammond, but you could be the first I saw that still managed to drive out of the pit lane without assistance. Yeah, I feel like when I watch a lot of Motorsport and also do a small bit of sim, the fundamentals of driving it would be that hard in real life. I remember reading that with all the downforce at high speed, a F1 decelerate at about 1G just with the release of the throttle.
To brake, F1 drivers use their whole body weight assisted by the deceleration of the vehicle to apply more pressure on the brake pedal. It wasn't because you lack the muscle to press the brake, but you were lacking the technique.

Nice driving man! I'm a bit jealous. I think your tires were a bit cold though, which was what probably led to the rears locking under braking. Looked like the tyre blankets were more "for show" than real purpose in the garage - they were open and probably not even warm. Plus the idle time on the pit lane.
