I think the comments about the ticket prices were a bit harsh because lots of PL clubs are having to do it but it’s true for us that the fans are being punished for years of bad management. The club made a loss of over £100 million last financial year, so it needs more money but the fact it’s not the glazers fronting up the money shows how self serving they are. I genuinely don’t think Sir Jim can afford to throw any more money at it, so if you want new signings then the fans are going to have to bail out the club. Should demand a spot on the board instead of refusing to pay more, so it’s more like the fans are investing into the club. Or perhaps an agreement to lower prices after a while if the club has success and starts making money again.

Thought the Team performance was a 6.5/10. However 5 players in AMAD, ZIRKZEE, BRUNO, RASHY and DE LIT all shone brightly . Once Yorro . Shaw , and Mainoo get 100% fit we will look stronger . Ugarte is def growing each match , mazza is solid , mount will have a big season if he stays fit . That’s my feelings

On manager ruben amorim hes done well so far with little training needs to get to know players then in the summer he will know who he wants to keep ones he wants to let go. He talks well lets see what happens but good signs so far this will take time patience good luck to him and the squad.

Re ticket prices, what option does the club have? The finances have been mismanaged for years; we owe 400m in transfer fees. We’re not in the champions league and we finished way down the league. We have no money; finances are tights and cost cutting measures have to be found. It’s negligence not to find ways to imcrease income and reduce expenses. It’s unfortunate, but it also is what it is. Unless someone has other avenues to increase revenue/reduce expenses

You guys have been too lucky with such low ticket prices for too long. Everywhere around the world professional teams tickets have already gone way higher like professional basketball, hockey, etc. where there can be tickets that are costing between a couple hundred to a thousand. Especially when there are new stadiums to build and team salaries the way they are. This ticket price increase you've just experienced is about 1/2 of what it should be realistically. It's true that the main fans can no longer afford to go see as many games, and it has become a business event for many sports around the world.
