Love it. Absolutely love it. However, I’ve been chasing 100mph in my 4S Rustler 4x4 and I finally hit it recently and I know just how sketchy that speed is. There isn’t a track or street or anything near me to facilitate that kind of speed safely and at that speed if you crash it can be horrific not just to the RC car but to whatever you hit. I came wicked close to smashing my car against someone else’s parked car and at that point I realized real quick I need to be way more careful and respect the speed way more. I don’t want to be the guy who has to explain how and why I destroyed the door of a strangers car. I gave up the chase for speed so now I have mild low end gearing and I plan to keep it that way. Also, for anyone wondering about my Rustler, the stock 3500kv motor holds up to 4S power just fine lol

@@HNunyabusiness I liked my old v1 e-revo bl. I drove it alot and I wasn't that responsible. Since it was only on 4s I never broke anything. (aside from a diff spline which I think was a manufactering flaw. weird to break diffs on 4s) I now own an outcast and although they are supposted to be similar power and size the drive train components in the Arma are like 1.5-2x bigger and thicker. I was honestly shocked the first time I took it apart. The design is simpler, no complex gearbox comming off the motor, simple tower mounted suspension instead of the pushrod setup. And arrmas supplier for their aluminum parts couldn't produce a pretty part to save their life. But it works better than the erevos complexity. The outcast is basically as wide as it is long and my model lacks a gyro yet it is more stable than my old e-revo and instead of traction rolling it oversteers into corners like a rally car. I was a huge traxxas fan and was skeptical about Arrna. But the first time I drove the kraton platform I was 100% sold.

Just got into the hobby of RC's a couple months ago. I guess I'm what these guys call an experienced driver, because I love this thing. Yes it's insane... insanely fun! 100% it burns through tires. All my other RC's I've broken this or that. I haven't broken anything on the Felony "yet". After getting the camber corrected I'll go through a set of rear tires in 3-4 runs. Fronts last a bit longer, but not by much. Fronts I've replace every 6-8 runs, depends on what I'm doing. Great car, loads of fun! Recommend to anyone who enjoys speed and drifting!

Ok, well after purchasing my first car back in the 1980's, a Frog, I bought this guy. Put two 3s in in and went to my local school's parking lot. Holy crap! 0 to what ever in seconds! And the new controller I upgraded to a DX5C, was better by a few lightyears than my old Futaba Box I used back in the 80's! This is NOT anywhere near what my old Frog was, and all I can say is it is still in one piece after going through the battery packs only once. I totally get the Holy S*%^$ moment you had as you did a speed run on the lower pinion gear. This thing ROCKS! But you WILL need space to run it. Small parking lots will not do. Enjoy this excellent car, and stay safe.

@Coyoterc13 жыл бұрын
@@1600WHB pinion gears ⚙️. It’s small gear that you have to switch out on the car yourself. It come with optional pinion gear in box for speed runs. The pinion gear that comes install on the car is meant for bashing around parking lot. The extra gear is only used for only topping out the max speed (85mph+). different gears for different uses so you don’t burn out the electric motor. I got infraction v2 (truck version) instead and top out at 87mph with optional pinion gear. If this is your first rc I would recommend, on the front of the remote itself. different speed throttle percentages that you can switch 50%,75%,100%. Start off on 50% and get used to it. They work your way up once you get comfortable. They are great fun rc but fast and it’s ez to lose control if you’re not used to it. Take your time and have fun! 😎 happy rcing.

I wish my daily driver could hit a curb at 79 mph and come out with only a little front fascia damage! Ive got very little room to run street RC so spend a lot of time in 1/24 and 1/32. 3s is as big as Ive run so far. someday, someday, I'll be able to run one of Arrma's 6S beasts

Nah i am not a huge fan of this thing and the infraction. Of course it looks badass and all and sure is fun, but i think rcs espacially this powerful shouldnt be so insanely easy to run, i think being challenged to hit a certain speed is part of the fun, it will makes the car more fun in the long run, because i think this and the infraction is gonna get boring very fast, because people realize that well, you take it out of the box, hit the top speed without doing anything, and then your kinda done. I dont know mabye i am just to oldschool or i am just weird, and i already see the Fanboys Coming, but its just my opinion lmao

If someone buys it for topspeed runs only, I think that wanting to go faster would encourage the owner into buying speed enhancing parts. That’s what I assume at least

Before these RTR cars were this fast, we would take weeks/months to build something this fast. That is where the most fun came for me. Once we started running them, it lost fun quickly. Having to find a open place to run, only running in a straight line, and racing credit card receipts made it dull pretty quickly. This is a awesome looking car though, really nice design.

Awesome video 👌👌 appreciated the unedited bashing footage. Looks like so much fun 🎉 waiting for availability of parts before I order the 🍊 one
