I'm so very sorry for your loss. I've had so many loses over the last 3 years including my stepdad and then my husband got very sick and was bedridden for months and passed. And then several months ago my brother passed. I'm having a hard time finding a way to go on so this song really speaks to me. Hi everyone, i was diagnosed with cancer in 2022, I am still here today, the treatment does take its toll but i am strong i have worked all my life given my time to work, now is my time but i know its limited now, i want so much, i feel cheated! but i know this treatment will work! I will be better! I am strong. I have set up my passing away service and have chosen Amanda version as my leaving service song, i think this sums up what God as chosen for me, he as chosen to take my life with him, i am not really ready to go, i know i still have life to live, but he as chosen this time, he gives it and he takes it away. I am not at all religious never have been, i don't know if heaven assists! but maybe i will know when time comes and i get there. Thank you for reading.

Thank you joyce, praying is for the living, I suppose I have not been so proactive in my life, I have tried to be not so interested in the dying, more about the living, it's only now you realise how life can be so short, but I have had 62+ years, where some dont really get that, it a shame, but when you are well you really dont see it, when you are suddenly plunge into a situation as this really do see the impact, we all deal with it differently, but we all look for a way out, and living is what we want. Thank you again, your words should never be suppressed, you say what you feel, not what you think people would like to not to hear, it important to be honest, however it may look, never bottle up feelings, you are human, with human emotions, let them out, again joyce thankyou😊

My wife died in February 2024 nearly 9 months ago. I can totally relate the lyrics to losing her. I cry everyday, don't know what keeps me going honestly, but as sad as it is hearing this and getting all ckoked up, it does bring some comfort, knowing from all the comments, I'm not alone and others are feeling the same pain. Grief is just unbearable sometimes, but she once told me she would hope that I'd find a way to continue on. Beautiful song.
