She also pointed out people have a hard time with self confidence that she had to work on to develop. you're supposed to speak positivity into you and your craft. otherwise you're just like everyone else. Ronda is a boss. one loss doesn't make you a loser. she's coming back. and a great role model for fighters! what she stands for is much stronger than what she actually does! amazing self confidence and doing what others haven't done!

Looking back at this lets me relive the joy I felt when Holly knocked Rondas head off. I forgot how much she strutted around with her mean girls attitude, she was so easy to hate. After getting eliminated from the UFC and fading into obscurity before joining WWE, we as people almost felt bad for Ronda. We treated her like a girl that was thrust into the spotlight and had no choice. We gave her the space she asked for and didnt bother her because we knew she was going through it so to speak. Looking back, she could have been such a better person and ambassador for the sport. I know she put it on the map and she will forever be famous for doing so but she was a terrible role model. She was everything that some MMA fans have grown to hate, the UFC hype machine, the preferential treatment, ect ect. I think we can all agree that at least 15 women in the UFC right now would kill Rousey.

Rousey has always been emotionally weak. She said it took a long time to build up her "confidence". When you have a bunch of people around you saying you are the best; you're going to believe it whether it's true or not. Rousey's downfall was underestimating Holly. Holly wasn't intimidated by Rousey and that's when Rousey started getting nervous. After feeling Holly's fist during the weigh-in she second guessed herself. You could hear her voice shaking when speaking to Rogan. She even showed fear during Jimmy Fallon. Rousey's reaction to the loss is a reflection of what Bethe said "She is not mentally healthy; she needs to take care of herself. She is winning, so everybody is around her cheering her up, but when she realises she is not everything that she believes she is, I don’t know what might happen. I hope she does not kill herself later on." After that fight a lot of people doubted her and she doubted herself. She went into hiding and contemplated suicide. This sport is all mind games and has little to do with physical strength. I was never a fan of Ronda Rousey but I do hope she takes care of herself. I also hope Dana White makes a much greater effort in promoting multiple female fighters instead of focusing on just one.

how can u not like Amanda Nunes. The woman smiles when she addresses anyone. They need to put her on a ppv in Brasil and watch it go through the roof. Ronda is becoming more delusional and arrogant everyday. I got Nunes on this one, her boxing is just too good and that jujitsu will keep her good should it get to the ground.

12:07 Never saw this interview before and I am so glad I saw it in this video. This is the epitome of why we wanted to see Ronda lose. Talking about how she likes Holly and hopes that after Holly loses she can enjoy her big payday and go buy a nice house. She even says a second time how she hopes Holly handles her upcoming "loss" well. I would be fine with all this talk if Ronda didnt act like a little spoiled brat when she lost. Never forget that when Ronda got her head kicked off by Holly she faded into darkness for a long, long time. There is a difference between confidence and cockiness. Ronda was really cocky and honestly, she had no right to be. At the end of the day it was not even her words that showed her arrogance but her lack of training in her stand up game. She honestly thought that not only could she get every fighter on the ground, she never even thought of preparing for a fight when she had to stay on her feet.

Well let's see, the belt was given to her. She had to arm bar her opponents to keep the belt. Dana is what made her along with the media. Once she thought she can fight that's when she lost big time! The media is what made the women's mma thanks to Dana promoting her not ronda!and she became very ungrateful with all her game and fans! Dana sure pulled many strings to get her to where she was. Instead if improving, in her mind there was no room for that as she was told she was the best. Looks at what happened to her! Yes she's rich, but she doesn't have what she wanted. "Retire a winner with the belt" wonder is she's happy in real life!

If you notice Ronda was a great fighter when she was hungry and only cared about fighting . But soon as she went Hollywood and got fame everywhere it's like ok I made it and I'm done it's like she stopped being hungry because she was probably making more money outside the octagon than inside however she forgot that the only reason why she was at that point was because of the octagon and still should of remained hungry. Its easy to get on top it's harder to stay there

Ronda's loyalty has been her downfall and success, from her team to her own opinions and thoughts. While her camp helped her get to a certain point she doesn't seem to want to train with better people. Her thoughts have made her believe everyone's against her and created a little bubble of hate. Its why she WAS great(winning) not necessarily why she WILL continue to be great(lose and quit).

I think the comparison is The Beatles. Every year they looked different and more world weary. Muhammad Ali too looked different every year. The change in looks, I think, has to do with being No. 1 in the world. A lot of pressure. Everyone wants something from you. That ages the body and mind. Anyway, after watching this promo, I pick Ronda to win by arm bar.

However, if your going to talk like you are unbeatable and tell us how you look in the mirror and love what you see, the least you can do is show your face after Holly Holm kicks your head off your shoulders. Remember when you used to love doing media and portraying your mean girl personal? Where was all that when you refused ALL media(literally did not do a single interview, the only person ever allowed to ignore all media in the history of the UFC while headlining an event) leading up the the Nunes fight? That's it for Rousey, she's done. And realistically I think she was sort of a negative influence anyway; too much bragging and too much anger and arrogance. She was never respectful of her opponents the way most other competitors are. Yes, they are fighters but there's no need to make it personal. At the weigh-in with Schevchenko, Nunes and Schevchenko smiled and shook hands. Rousey never does that. Now she's gone. Good riddence.

Wow look at the 12:40 mark where Dana gives her the belt to hold and Ronda almost seems bashful in a way! Like just holding HER own title would be bragging or boastful! Crazy how much ish changes over time! Lol

Ronda's swelled head weighed her down in the end and she was forced to swallow a huge helping of humble pie.

If only her team actually had her learn stand up and decent striking. Holm and nunes exposed that she looked like she had never taken a hit to the face

That old man was right it was 12.9 seconds if you time from john hand clap to the first tap of zinganos. I would like to be credited with this, so UFC write me, i need a better job and you need a new clock management man.

When I seen her (Ronda Rousey) interview on ESPN when she was wearing the Librarian outfit, I was hooked! I took the bait and pulled everyone who grabbed a hold of the rod out of the boat! But when she turned her back on the media, she also turned her back on the people who had her back! I wish Ronda well... it was a good ride while it lasted!

I think Rousey's attitude was better then. I think it shows shes been around people massaging her ego and being paranoid. It would be the best match-up IF rousey beats Nunes and Cyborg beats whoever the ufc new featherweight champion is.. then have a catch-weight 140 match, Champion vs Champion (or 145 title fight).

I enjoyed this and I've followed the careers of both fighters. I follow most fighters and well before they enter into the UFC. Many people have forgotten why Ronda became the star she is. Everyone takes things so personal like it's their lives instead of hers. She is a star because she was great at promoting her fights. People hate her for it, but her fights sell out. I'm not claiming she will come back and destroy Nunez. I enjoy watching Nunez fight and anyone who wants to be a star would want a chance at Rousey. Since losing the belt it has passed hands many times. I respect what she did for women's MMA, which truly wouldn't be where it is today without her. Until I see someone hold the belt as long as she did, she will stay the biggest star in female MMA in that devision. I hope that she wins and is able to leave the sport positively. Nunez still has a long and great career ahead of her and she will only get better with time and trials. I understand her not wanting to do media also. She doesn't owe anybody anything. She wants to focus on the fight instead of allowing everyone to hammer her and I get it. I hope she is mentally prepared and I hope to watch a damn good fight by two great fighters.

I forgot how Ronda used to spit fire on those press conferences, she wrecked MIesha Tate on the Strikeforce one.

If Rhonda wants to see what a true teacher who understands how to incorporate certain aspects of the sweet science to enhance a cage fighters striking ability----she needs to look no further than the person responsible for taking her next opponents striking to another level. Edmond had no answer for a high level striker, we'll see if he recognized the weaknesses that must be addressed or she could be exposed once again if the fight stays up. Rhonda looked like a lost amateur that night, and Edmond was a big reason for that.

Wow, I never knew that Rousey looked past Holly Holm so condescendingly. That piece really underscores just how gassed up she was. Irony has never been more profound, ever!!!
