It's an island where a collection of dolls are strung up to ward off bad luck. it started due to the original owner of the island (Don Julián Santana Barrera) finding a dead girl floating in the canal, and then a finding a doll floating in the water the next day. He believed it was the girl's doll & he hung it up in order to honor her memory/ward off evil. it was featured in a couple of ghost hunting series including an early buzzfeed unsolved one edit: fixed some punctuation and added info

I feel like a good game needs a good balance of gameplay and hidden lore. By "balance" I mean mostly gameplay and an actual storyline with hidden lore that you don't need to find to know what's going on. This demo felt like it was there to serve to the lore hunters then to actually add to the obvious story or give us good gameplay.
