I had the exact same eyeshadow in the colour Epatant. Nothing compares to this eyeshadow. It was so unique and special. I can’t believe Chanel discontinued those. I can get close but nothing really was the same. There was something so special about those. They definitely should bring those back.

I was so sad at the loss of CYO! I wore 102 and now I use Calico from No7. Their drop formula is amazing-if it still exists, and is so good mixed in with a primer, sunscreen, etc ❤

I love how you mixed and match shades to make the new moon shade. That's something we sometimes forget to do with shadows. I found so many of those jaclyns single pot shadows at Marshalls and I got a few but now I regret I didn't get them all.

The roen gold lust palette is stunning!! It’s my everyday glossy eye look. More natural, but gives it a special “I woke up like this” but hydrated eyes look. Highly recommend. Especially with a bold berry lip or brown lipstick. Out the door in 2 minutes.

I’ve swatched cream shadows that look exactly the same (looking directly at them) but significantly different when you tilt your hand or arm - the undertones can be way different in how they shift.

I actually find the Purito Cica Clearing BB Cream formula to be a better formula of the CYO. It's a slightly heavier coverage but wears even better imo. Shade range is terrible though :(

I’ve been pondering the No7 for a bit and finally got it in Calico. I’ll recommend another option of a similar shade (that neutral grayish tone) which would be the Purito BB cream in #21. It’s my favorite but a little dark for me in winter so we’ll see if Calico works better.

Okay, follow up comment - I was playing around in my shadow singles today and I found a killer New Moon dupe. Yes, an honest to goodness dupe, Amanda, lol. The Ulta Bouncy Cream Shadow in Confetti as a base, then layer Italian Ice over it, and I threw in a little Urban Decay Lithium to deepen. So pretty! I ended up dabbing on some Space Cowboy, too, cause why not? It doesn't have that same New Moon sized glitter, but the colors are spot on. I also thought it ended up looking a bit more wet because of this. Try it!

If I’m not mistaken I think Lisa Eldridge had a hand in the number 7 line a few years ago. I was also wondering how your Tretinoin journey is going? Mine is going well, started it 3 months ago after using Diffren gel for 2 years. I no longer use a foundation everyday, just a tinted sunscreen and concealer. My melasma is fading and breaking up. Mine was so bad it look like dirt on my face. This next year I will be spending my budget on cream pot shadows. I am looking forward finding my perfect one and done!❤

The colors are definitely similar! They have a little more base pigment though comparatively to tinsel and grey brown however- they’re super beautiful and similar

I had such a different (and disappointing!) experience with the VB Lid Lustres! Coveted them for years, finally bought velvet as I’m on a mission for a one and done olive. But mine arrived with a broken cap and it must have compromised the product. It was flakey, hard, scratchy, patchy, fall out everywhere, and gave my eye irritation. 😢 Tea Rose was atop my wishlist, but j May be off the product altogether now

Can you imagine a makeup company as you as the CEO, creating nothing but singles, crea, singles with a topcoat, cream singles, powder shimmery singles, with brushes to be used with the. If I had your connections, that is the company I would want. Palettes no bigger than quads like the roen, and crayon shadows creamy as all get out. I'll be first in line with my meager monthly makeup budget to buy as many as I can. The only requirement, is that it would have to ship to Canada and I would have so many videos to make because with your eye for detail it would be 1 video per single. 😘💖😘💖😘💖😘💖😘💖😘💖😘💖
