World-class mastery in almost 8 more works, isn't that impressive! I too am polyphasic sleeper for 6 months now, and every point covered in this video is so-absolutely true. One more psychological fact i want to share(I'm not sure to call it as pro or con) is the days seem less like a new start to me now, the life has become a whole series of days rather than "a new day, a new start" and believe me it's an awesome feeling! Also the thing which hasn't worked for me was to start slow, at first I started decreasing sleeping hours from 7 to 6 to 5 to 4 with every 4-5 days of practice but it was a severe fail(and later i had to fill my sleep debt) as it pushed the body through more exhaustion everytime i reduced my sleeping hour, a sudden decrease (after 4 months), proved better for me.

Steve jobs also slept for 4 hours and he died so early. and there are N number of examples like him, who were overtly successful and left this world so early. I fully respect your analysis, but mere sleeping for less hours cannot ensure your life's longevity and nor the quality of your life. Its utterly bullshit to denote the longevity of someone's life mere on the parameter of hours of sleep, because you don't know how much you gonna survive in future. Now, what I want to say is all about the food what we eat makes our brain healthy and even ensures our life's longevity. Even many studies have found that the life of a human, whether happy or sad, productive or unproductive, long or short, depends majorly on what we eat and what king of food we prefer, So a proposal of balanced diet was made in the research and it was found that the people who were eating more organic and natural food items were responding in a better manner, be it brain response, pro activeness or over all freshness of the day. There are many digestion related issues happens with the people who sleep very less or sleep not on time, i.e according to natural human sleep cycle. Secondly, keeping into mind the amount of sleep also depends upon the nature of our work or activity, you cannot recommend Usain Bolt or Virat Kohli to sleep for 4 hours, but aren't they successful? And most of the people of whom you are talking have almost entered into an age band of +50 which means they are already suffering from sleep deprivation already due to their work overload toll and increasing age. and there is no record about whether they have slept for only 4 hours when they were in their early teens or under 30. What I believe is life should have a proper balance of everything, extremity of any thing to fulfill any purpose faster is too dangerous for a longer run. What I recommend is, Sleep before 11 PM, sleep for 7 hours, live away from Mobile and gadgets as much as possible, atleast do a mix of physical exercises and meditation for 45 minutes a day, and eat organic and natural food as much as possible.

Dipankar Singh Even if life gets shortened... but at least we could achieve as much as we can before old age... nyways old age is not at all good... so it’s good even if we live less. Hey. Although the habit might help you sort you life and I think it’s a good routine but personally, I believe that an average person needs sleep for 7-10 hours and it is different for every person. I have read that sleeping for less than 7 hours does put your body at a risk in the long run. The results won’t be instant. And you feel less tired when you get adequate sleep so in a way, it is beneficial to sleep for an average of 8 hours and wake up when your sleep cycle goes to the light sleep section. Instead, try to use your time wisely. It is a good video though.

It doesn't depend on your sleep pattern that how much you will be successful in future, it depend on how much effort, focus and hard work you put in working for your goals, passion and field of work when you are not sleeping.

Bhaiya this video is really helpful. This one I've already tried for 15 days taking good short naps in between. Honestly, when you have something in you (madness) to do something very badly then you can achieve this. Trust me everyone this is not at all a bad concept. It increases your efficiency and you can do a lot more in your life. I would love to work on it again and try to maintain it this time for sure. As I'm an neet/aiims aspirant I don't have enough time but still I'm gonna start it again. To be frank this is not madness you'll definitely be successful. 😀
