I’ve been loving your interviews, all very informative indeed. I wish people here in the West were more attentive to such issues, and your channel could grow more. Thanks for the great piece of journalism you do.

The fixed oil price was set at a level that allows russian oil to be sold but with little profit. This stabilized the oil market with little benefit to putin.

Reporting from Western Europe, I feel that many who had sympathy for Putin felt betrayed when Russia did invade Ukraine, despite the denials before that happened and despite efforts to come to an agreement. And in my opinion it is this betrayal of trust that will secure continued western unity and support for Ukraine.

Kenneth Mant Nath Zelensky could have been a super hero - still buttered up the West, while building Ukraine reserves, i.e., from grain to gold. Half Ukraine lies in ruins. Ukraine diaspora must have mixed feelings.

Zelensky represents the people. He cant do what they don’t want. That’s how it works in democracy. Nazis will be very happy to read your comment. Logically, you are saying destruction of USSR by them was Stalin’s fault. He buttered up the west since he needed their help exactly like today’s Ukraine.

Actually, Ukrainian diaspora is very positive in Europe (of course there are some conservatives who are against any kind of aliens, no matter what) but most have seen hard working people eager to learn the language and get things moving. Either they go back to Ukraine with this additional knowledge and network, or they stay and have the network with Ukraine: the ties with Europe have become so much stronger in the past year and I can tell you from what I see around me, that basically even the most right wing xenophob has at least some sympathy for Ukrainian refugees, and have respect for their willingness to work and learn the language. Rebuilding Ukraine has already started, it’s a transformation from post-imperialist and post-socialist to a modern nation
